CASTROVILLE — The family of a Castroville missing child seek the assistance of the media and public in locating her.

That's a stupid cover story and I don't know why the family bought it.

A Castroville man is missing with a 10-month old boy after a report of possible child abuse, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said today. Deputies were called to a residence in Castroville on Saturday on a report of possible child abuse, but could not locate either the suspect, Jesus Vargas Espinoza, 47, or 10-month-old Angelle Jenisis Negron

On Feb. 3, Espinoza contacted the grandmother, Pompey Morales, and asked to keep the child for an additional three days.

RIP Little angel....I was praying for a different outcome.

I am wondering if the child endangerment call came from his daughter, since she no longer wanted to cover up for her father, maybe she suspected something. I feel for this family...just 10 months old. So sad so senseless. JMO
