Ok, so I have a question for those of you who buy into the whole "she wandered off" theory. If Asha made it to the lighthouse gift shop, based on the fact that she was allegedly sighted there, and her jacket was found along the road to to light house, what kind of person would specifically go to a remote gift shop between 9am to 2pm with the intention to kidnap a stranger?(keep in mind, you have to pay a fee to drive into said parking lot)

I don't recall anyone previously mentioning kidnapping. And she may have met someone she knew rather than a stranger. Also, I don't recall her being specifically seen at the gift shop or parking lot. I was under the impression she was seen on the driveway short of the parking lot, although I can't say exactly why I think that.

This is not well confirmed yet, but it seems Asha's family suspect she is living under an assumed name.

A long article, with many previously undisclosed details. The most comprehensive account I have seen yet. For the first time, we hear from Jamai.

I can add some commentary here, gathered from a confidential source.

The "Eddie" and "Joy" Asha mentions are Albion neighbors of Jamai and Asha. Eddie now apparently has Asha's "missing" German Shepherd. And, to the best of my knowledge, Eddie and Joy are just fine.

Could the alias she is using that they are investigating be because of the Reddit post regarding AK "Lily Lovewell"?

I am not sure if I can post a link here, but if you search for it it is in the comments...

Okay, some observations by a local skeptic.

When the three travelers left the hospital, they passed a coffee shop restaurant in half a mile. It's on the grounds of the Super 8 motel at the north end of Noyo Bridge, readily visible. Also, there are a number of restaurants under the bridge, on the Noyo Harbor waterfront. Yet, Jamai says they not only passed those eateries and their Albion home to go to the Rollerville Cafe for breakfast. He also says he had never been that far south on Hwy 1 before. I doubt that. Let me explain my dubiety.

It beggars belief that they had never driven south to Flumeville and Point Arena. Jamai has San Francisco connections. The handiest commute between Albion and San Francisco is south along Route 1. You can cut inland south of Santa Rosa, thus avoiding its incredible traffic jam on Route 101. Northern alternatives run you south on 101 right into Santa Rosa.

Also, roads are scarce enough around here that you simply end up driving on them sooner or later. With the spreadout geography, northern Californians routinely drive distances that seem outrageous to an East Coaster. (Disclosure: I am a refugee from said coast.)

Looking through missing persons cases in the Emerald county (there are a lot), a lot of these people that go missing work on pot farms. I found one case in which the behavior of this person is very similar to hers, and started from a bad experience with weed and LSD. He was paranoid, defensive, trying/and did runaway. Wondering if this was a really bad trip from cannabis possibly laced with something else. He also had never had previous episodes of "mental issues" and the people he was with were trying to take him to a mental health facility. And when they went, they received no help and were headed to San Francisco.

Just saw some similarities in the behavior and the circumstances.

"According to an official report sent to the Journal from Liñan Cano's nephew, Norberto Ibanez Liñan, the men had been working at a cannabis cultivation site near Mad River in Trinity County. Liñan Cano's behavior prior to the episode was "strange," according to the report, and was exacerbated after he smoked marijuana and tried LSD."

Then he ran out of the car and was never seen again, I believe they recently identified his body and is still under investigation. I hate to say it, but it seems to be this strange behavior and disappearance is not an uncommon situation in many of these missing person investigations in the area. And a lot are involved in working in the cannabis industry.

Liñan Cano has been found. Asha hasn't.

Unfortunately, cannabis workers don't seem to be content with smoking the weed they raise. They also tend to use crank, with all its hallucinatory side effects.

Just to add to the weirdness, Asha and Jamai's neighbor has disappeared. He is the same "Eddy" that Asha was purportedly raving about just before she vanished.

I'm not a doctor, or here to diagnose, but I really question the whole schizophrenia/bipolar theory of why Asha seemingly lost her marbles. Yes, she has a family history of that, but you know what else runs in her family? hyperthyroidism. Her mom and sister both have it. Insomnia is a major symptom of this disease.
