They don't need one, drug smugglers whether cartel or not, have been proven to do things for the hell of it. Maybe not to pay him, and maybe to have a fun time, place her for prostitution, or harvest her or their organs. You have to understand the depth of these criminal organizations and how to them most human life has no real value. They're just cattle you can make money of by reselling or selling their parts.

I just watched the investigative report on our local stations live feed.. a couple of details I thought were interesting was that the last text from AM her parents received was past 8 that night and when they asked where she was the response was "I'm with Jonathan" and then that picture (not taken that day) was sent to them. They didn't suggest whether or not the text sounded like it would coming be from AM, but it's entirely possible someone else sent it - especially since that picture wasn't taken in real time. Secondly- AMs family called OnStar at 2:30 am on Friday - I know there has been questions on the thread when that call was made. Thirdly - Jons mom said she didn't think Jon was ever in Brawley at all. That he had a pizza delivered at his apartment in PD a little after 6 in the evening - so for AM to have claimed in text message that she was with him after 8pm makes it hard to phathom that Jon would travel to Brawley after 6 when his pizza was delivered to his house - only for Audrey to pick him up approx 2 hours later when Brawley is AT THE VERY LEAST 1 hours and 31 minutes away - according to google maps. His mother confirmed - along with what his friends were saying - that there was no reason for him to be at Brawley. And if AM really did pick him up - that would of been a 3 hour round trip for her. So if you believe he was in Brawley - JR had to have left palm desert after 6pm - making the approx time of his arrival to Brawley 7:30 at the very earliest - yet AM supposedly was with him and hour after that. So that means, he would of either had called AM on the way out there to ask to be picked up before he even reached his destination to make the Brawley timeline feasible. Because of that and the fact that NO ONE can pinpoint why the hell he would be there in the first place - leads me to believe that he was never there. So I don't know where AM fits into that - whether she was told to come out as some sort of trap - perhaps by a person(s) who later sent the picture and text to his parents. That's all I've got right now.

First, my impression of this is why would the sister be asking where she was? I always thought the sister knew she was going to seeing the boyfriend. The pizza thing is curious but I had always thought he was in Brawley all day and then came back. Maybe he was back by 6ish?

The claim that he was in Brawley came from the roommate and audrey? Or just audrey..... again I don't think that he was there and I think that was just a cover up for were she was going to pick him up from or what they had planned to do but then again I don't know why she have to lie to her sister about going to another city when she could have just said she was going to go hang out at his house she's grown wouldn't have to be home by a certain time

Oh and I thought like maybe they weren't dating long and the mom asked who she was with maybe she told her and then like sent a picture just so she can remember who she was talking about but on the other hand it does seem suspicious because somebody who was texting for her probably would have had a guilty conscious and been like with Jonathan I better send a picture so she believes me. ...so it could go both ways

Hi All,
This is my first post. Joined here because I am a local who briefly knew Jon and have been following this case closely. Just watched the above mentioned news special where a couple of details were revealed that we didn't know before. One being that he had ordered a pizza that was supposed to be delivered around 6pm. Wondering if that was confirmed? I really hope these two are found soon this has seeemed to go on so long for these families.

I also wonder if the pizza was delivered I'm sure that's something that le could confirm immediately by contacting the Domino's he ordered from I also wonder who the delivery guy was and if he could comment on anything he noticed or if he is perhaps any person of interest
