Does anyone know when her flight was scheduled to go to Hong Kong?

Guessing she would have flown out of LAS
(McCarran International Airport - Las Vegas).

In the Crystal McDowell Case LE told her boyfriend that he failed the polygraph. I don't know if LE lied to him or he really failed but he admitted failing on the Ashley Banfield show (IIRC) and social media went insane after that accusing him. The boyfriend was innocent. Crystal's ex-husband Steven McDowell murdered her (and their daughter witnessed the whole thing and testified at the trial). Steven never gave any media interviews so no one knew the results of his polygraph before he was arrested. My point being-- yes LE will lie to a POI and say the person failed.

MOO.
RT is quoted as saying he took a polygraph test and LE said they thought he was being deceptive. Perhaps that was their excuse to investigate at their home, etc. MOO

I think you nailed it. As women we would all aspire to be treking around the desert in a bikini at 69 if we could. That's just so awesome!!
It's been reported it was a swimsuit top and shorts.

LOL! I guess I’m too practical. All I can envision is sun damaged skin and bugs. :D

I’m with you, Lilibet! I’ve been in hikes in the hot sun, your skin very quickly feels like it’s burning and sweat draws every gnat, fly, or bug. Alcohol makes people dehydrated. If I could only carry one thing with me it would definitely be water.

If I had the body of a model I would still wear a shirt and shorts at the very least! Teenagers might not think of practical reasons to wear clothes or carry water in the desert heat, but for an adult female experienced hiker it would be a no brainer!
MOO

I just keep getting this funny feeling when I look at photos of RT and watch him speak on video, that he's a phony kind of guy in some way. I don't know why, and I'm not saying this means anything at all in terms of his wife disappearing, just sayin' from a personal, subjective stance, he kind of gives me the willies.

Maybe it's just his mannerisms, or the way he talks, but somehow it feels more like he's pontificating instead of reeling about his wife disappearing. And letting MSM into their house and showing them love notes she left him and mentioning how every night before bed they would tell eachother how much they loved eachother... I'm like why the heck does he think he needs to demonstrate / provide evidence of how much they loved each other? IMO / MOO / JMO / I don't know...

I finally put my finger on who Robert reminds me of. Lisa Vanderpump's husband Ken Todd, if only he had longer hair.

Maybe he is self pacifying or perhaps he simply wants people to believe his story and is showing "proof". He's 72 years old and has a lot on his plate right now, I'm willing to cut him some slack {for now}.

How can LE consider TR their chief suspect when they say they suspect no foul play. All the talk of guilt is coming from RT and he projects a guilty conscience in my opinion.

While the police are saying no foul play he’s saying of course there was a crime. She had to cross a road, she was wearing a bikini and drinking a beer so it stands to reason she was abducted by someone, just anyone on the road.

There is a comment on this tweet by SBCO sheriff I find really interesting. Not sure what the person meant but gave me an idea.

Twitter

Again, going with a brainstorm on the abduction idea, not saying it’s my theory necessarily.

If someone she knew was waiting at the camper, she may have got in their vehicle not realizing bad intentions. IF there is a ransom now, or on the table, we wouldn’t know that. BUT, possibly they have communicated that to RT and that’s why he mentioned Vegas and “no charges” or whatever. Maybe the original plan of this person was to confront them both?

Does she have relatives or friends who might know they have money and would attempt this?

It's also been reported that she was wearing a bikini. We don't actually know for sure what she was wearing.

That twitter post had some valuable information (look at responses and you'll find a family members name).

Exactly
That twitter post had some valuable information (look at responses and you'll find a family members name).

Now I’d be wondering who knew they were going on a trek/hike? Who in their circle might be in a desperate situation?

And we don't actually know if she had a beer in her hand. Everything that has been reported about BT the day she disappeared has been stated by her husband and has not been corroborated by anyone else, including LE, who stated today (a week since she went missing) that they were unaware of the exact time and place she went missing. IMO

Heading off to bed shortly. So, what do we know? We know that:

  • BT had told relatives on Wednesday July 10 that she and RT were going to be camping and potentially off the grid for a few days.
  • RT called 911 in mid-afternoon on Friday July 12 to report his wife missing.
  • RT/BT trailer was pulled off to the side of Kelbaker Road, north of I-40 on the afternoon of Friday July 12.
  • RT told LE that he and BT went for a short hike/walk (2 miles) and he lost sight of her as they neared their RV on the way back.
  • RT told LE that BT was wearing a black bikini, a red hat, tan hiking boots, and, black socks. He said she had a beer in her hand.

That's pretty much it, and most of it comes from RT.

The video with the tweet also gives one a better idea of the terrain.

Thanks for this summary. Even the first bullet where RT is not the source came from an as yet unverified source (relative of hers posting here), about the camping trip being planned, and that she might be unreachable for a few days. So pretty much we know nothing for sure, and unfortunately nothing RT has said has been corroborated. Oh well, time will tell. Nighty night!

I know that's been speculated that they were parked on Kelbaker Road but I don't think that's a fact, is it? MOO

Well that was interesting. My search after lead elsewhere and well......I don't know what to make of something.

There are two scenarios as I see them:

Her husband killed her, and she was never there.

She left on her own volition.

I don’t think she went anywhere...
