There are two scenarios as I see them:

Her husband killed her, and she was never there.

She left on her own volition.

I don’t think she went anywhere...
So, you're not feeling the abduction theory? Yeah. Me, neither. MOO

The video with the tweet also gives one a better idea of the terrain.
What is strange is the dogs running in circles. Not just one dog, either.

The earlier pictures of Robert when his hair is colored, he appears as a much better looking man.IMO

The next picture with BT where his hair is white completely changes his look IMO. He looks rough around the edges, mean, and the type of controlling person.

It was amazing to me to see such a difference in him. With the change of hair color, he is a bit scary to me. IMO.

For some weird reason, I still think she might have managed to get lost. After this length of time in the desert, there’s no happy ending there.

If she was never there, I think LE will be able to prove it. So, we’ll see.

I’m still slightly open to that, but barely.

These circumstances aren’t conducive to her being lost. I’d love to think that way, but the way her husband says she she was dressed, coupled with the beer, just wreaks of “walk.”

People on a walk in that area, just don’t disappear into thin air.

I’ve been there.

Well, if you go back and read the Sheryl Powell thread, you'll see that many WSers were convinced her husband was responsible for SP's disappearance. So, it's probably wise to proceed with caution. We'll know more in due time.

Under Scenario 1, well, there appears to be her husband saying what he thinks might have went down.
Under Scenario 2, it doesn't really play why she would go missing under her own volition, cuz she was about to go to Hong Kong to be with her very sick brother. IMO.

This is really old but a good overview. Skip to page 7 where they start explaining the circles. :) The dogs always fascinate me. MOO

Sure. But ignore what the husband has said, look at the circumstances and terrain, and the two are nothing alike.

Caution is fine, but I’m skeptical.

Seeing a sick relative, especially a close relative, is going to be incredibly stressful on anyone.

Super interesting!

So no stalking or abduction by a known person would be on your radar? Just curious I’m still a newbie.

Absolutely not. That’s too perfect.

Crimes of opportunity happen all the time, but not like this.

This is “misadventure,” which I think is about 20%, and foul play at about 70%

She ran off at 10%.

So 90% she’s dead.

As I see it anyways.

IMO.

True.

Here's where I get stuck, though:

Scenario 1: We just saw this exact situation play out in the Rousseau case.
Husband gave a presser and said what he thought happened to his wife and daughter.
He thought they had been abducted.
He thought wrong.

They'd gone voluntarily missing.

Scenario 2: We also just saw this exact situation happen. Dude went inexplicably missing, co-worker was even here on WS posting, dude's brother was gravely ill/dying, and nobody knew what to make of it.
He was located.

He'd gone voluntarily missing.

You also have the other recent missing hiker who was out with her spouse, that Powell case.

We all know how that one turned out.

So there's that, too.

JMO.

So if she just went around a rock formation then when he continued and didn't see her couldn't he shout out to her or she to him? They weren't that far apart and no noise out there!

Also does his truck/rv have tracking device?

This is just all so confusing.
This may have been discussed earlier and haven’t caught up with all the posts yet so forgive me please - Did either one have a hearing impairment and not be able to hear shouting or maybe she told him where she was going and he didn’t hear her? I just noticed that my hearing is getting bad and sometimes I don’t catch any sound at all .

Thanks for finding that. It shows that the area has plants, dips and rises, and many rocky outcroppings. "Desert" means dry and relatively barren but not necessarily flat, sandy, or devoid of plants.

Are there snakes and spiders and other scary critters ?

It hasn't been discussed on MSM that either of them (BT or RT) had a hearing impairment.

Yeah, and these stupid scorpion things that like to make a home in your boots while you are sleeping.

Place is fricken miserable, unless you like heat in the day, cold in the night, and creepy crawly nonsense.

Oh, and don’t touch the equally stupid desert tortoise, which is apparently a protected species.

Good point. I don’t think we know about any hearing impairment. I gave in and got hearing aids a year ago, but I know my husband sometimes has “selective hearing loss.” :) Not to joke about this, but it’s certainly possible she told him where she was going and he nodded while tuning her out. He may have thought she said she was going to the RV, but perhaps she went to climb some rocks.

I’d feel confident that there are sidewinder rattlesnakes, and lots of scorpions. Tarantulas, but they aren’t poisonous enough to worry about. A while back, people were asking about mountain lions. I’d doubt that there’d be any of those, unless one was just passing through—not enough deer for food.
