I fear they may have a tough time since SAR spent nine days there. Any subtle tracks will be gone.
Agree, after the official search it would be difficult. I also don't think LE would request it as an additional resource.

Has RT returned to the location and searched, is still searching or... has not returned to the location since that day?
Because, as outlandish as it is, he had a theory for every possible question he might be asked. Volunteering those theories is what a guilty person does. For those who think Robert was involved, if so, why would he do 2 lengthy interviews on TV? Inviting them inside his home, sharing personal things?
On top of that claiming him being the prime suspect and failing a lie detector test?
What would be the benefit of this if he was the perpetrator? Why not stay away from cameras to begin with?
Why would a perpetrator not only seek media attention, but also do it in such a way that the case would peek everyone's interest, even in Europe? A 69 woman in her bikini, drinking beer, probably kidnapped to Las Vegas, husband says he is the prime suspect. It almost seems like a well thought out pr stunt for a missing persons case, that otherwise would not have gotten that much media attention, if any.
(reposting this, deleted it because of concern it may be victim unfriendly, but to me it is defending him, and it can be a constructive discussion imo)

Well he said himself that LE considers him the chief suspect, so that is reason to sleuth him here, relative or not.
I still find it troubling that Barbara didn’t have a cell phone at all. I know some people have said they know older people who don’t have or really use cell phones, but that sure isn’t my experience. Most I know are glued to them and if not they still have them at the insistence of loved ones. It’s not exactly a luxury or just convenience anymore. It’s basic safety!
Barbara is 69, not 89–cell phones have been around for 2 decades. She was in her 40’s when they came out. Not exactly new technology.
I wonder if she ever had one or never had one even before she met her husband? Just wondering, b/c I can’t imagine someone (even a free spirited someone) willingly not having the main tool in our society today for contact with other people.
FYI I didn't have one for several years. Long story, but I didn't miss it. Since Christmas I have one again (only because it was a gift), but I don't use it much. I certainly don't use it for internet unless it's essential. I prefer to use a laptop or tablet as I can't be doing with such a small screen and keyboard.I still find it troubling that Barbara didn’t have a cell phone at all. Do we even know that it was a digital photo? I can’t tell on my phone.I think the picture you mentioned was a zoomed in verion of the original. It was discussed in an earlier thread. Therefore, date and time stamp would not be shown.

Yes everyone is different, and maybe it truly is her choice not to have one. I hope so, but I personally find it surprising. Our VI said they let her borrow one when she came to visit in HK. I just can’t believe she was traveling alone across the world in foreign airports etc. with no phone. It’s wild to me! Maybe it’s just me. I guess I just want to know that she didn’t want one as opposed to not allowed to have one. There’s really no way for us to know though, b/c I doubt she would have told anyone if that were the case.FYI I didn't have one for several years. Long story, but I didn't miss it.
