When something tragic happens, it is natural to look for an outlet for anger. In families, that anger (rightfully or not), is most often directed at one person. In this case RT.

Is he guilty of anything? I have no idea. But It seems, (if even unintentional), that he is being virtually tried and convicted, IMO.
I’m waiting for LE to officially weigh in.

If the man is innocent, he will have wrongfully endured public vilification That might have a very damaging impact on his health, and life.

As such, I’m waiting for facts.

We really don't know that for sure. If he's been interviewed but he made claims about RT in an accusing manner, media may not want to run them and risk legal liability for helping to spread the accusations. Moo

the only two people independent and specific to Barbara to our WS knowledge are open minded to the obvious suspect as well as anything else.
that is good enough for me to be open minded to all options also.

very very difficult and brave for a family member to be open minded and not blind sighted by love and loyality .

personally I am not here to support and worry about RT .
I am here to support Barbara. she is missing. assumed dead.
she isn't hanging out at the mall and casino living life like some...….
at this stage the red flags are accumulating.

I can't imagine the media turning down any story concerning a missing person.

Even if Barbara's son suspects foul play or thinks her husband is involved, I would think the media would be anxious to interview anyone who might have information about the case. Imo

That's a good point. He may have sought out certain networks, and they may have decided not to run the story based on the fact that there has been no indication from LE that this is anything other than a case where someone got lost in the desert, never to be found.

They have said from the beginning that they do not suspect foul play.
The media may not be willing to run a story based on speculation and information not verified by LE. Imo

Perhaps a timing coincidence. But, have to ask, are you directing this at me for bringing up the cell phone "issue" ? To clarify, I don't know if denying your wife a cell/smart phone - if true - and that's a big if true at this point - makes one more likely responsible for her disappearance. But, even you have to agree, it's darn interesting if true.

Just popping in (been here since the start but can't keep up.)

I have NOT been a fan of random abduction theory, but daggummit, Barbara is beautiful at any age! There is no way a random meth-addled abductor would think she is 69 years old (especially when she has a ball cap and sunglasses on.) These pix make me once again consider random abduction, no matter how unlikely. There are some crazy people out there. We see it every day, unfortunately. I also see why her husband may have said things that sound like victim-blaming to some people. He sees a beautiful woman as a possible target and I do too. So... I'm not completely discounting the theory of abduction anymore.
