I truly wish I knew. I think we could figure it out. The first interview is broadcast on Tuesday (16th I believe). I suspect it was actually filmed on Monday. Got confirmation from people I know that it looks to be around 2-3 in the afternoon (judging by shadows on the driveway). Too short a time for it to be broadcast in Vegas just a couple of hours later. So...Monday?

Thanks! So he went on TV before contacting family? That just seems odd to me because I would certainly want to let her family know first, especially an ill brother.
On another note, I truly hope our VI is doing ok. I hope his father is well. MOO

....if there are any such photos, that family could assist police in verifying that the person shown in the photos is indeed their relative. jmo.

Is there a need for fam/anyone to verify a particular image as an image of BT?
If BT is found alive, presumably she'll be able to ID herself.
If, as some ppl anticipate, her remains are discovered, the ID will likely be thru DNA.

So ---- would having a family-verified, current pic (mid-July) help public to recognize her?
Does LE need an additional pic to release, to prompt the public to BOLO her?
Isn't the bikini & hat pic sufficiently detailed & current for that purpose?
Could a pix of BT on soc media be used to supplement bikini/hat pic?

If there is a need for an image to be verified/ID'ed as BT, who should it be?

Do we know when BT's family last saw her in person? For (some) fam in HK, IIRC, it was ~ May 2018. Anyone recall about BT's son in Ind? Any other fam we know of?

.....also apparently she took a 360 picture that morning from on top of a hill and the photo included a parking lot with some vehicles in it so the police are looking into their license plates/info.

Oh, really? I didn't realize that there was evidence that they had eaten lunch.
I assumed they did, especially if they were drinking beer, but I never knew there was any mention of it in MSM.

Exactly. I think Barb wore similar clothing when she hiked, and that photo was put out to represent what people should be looking for.

If that photo was from that day, then why not come out and say that?

This would be so simple if we had any indication that Barb was there, when her husband said she was.

We don’t though.

We have the word of a lone individual, who for some reason, was administered a polygraph.

The picture that Barbara took that showed the parking lot was reportedly taken in the morning.

We don't know what time any other pictures may have been taken, but the VI said that LE informed him there were pictures of Barbara.

The other picture that was thought to be taken around 2:00 was a different picture, I think. But as a poster just pointed out, that information is considered rumor because it was not from a reliable source.
So we really dont know the time that any pictures were taken! Imo

No idea. She could have been wearing the exact clothing in that photo, but we don’t know for sure the photo that was released was taken that particular day.

I don’t think she was there in the first place, so the clothing is a moot point as far as I’m concerned.

Someone answered and said it was just speculation.
I would think that LE would have looked inside the RV, though.
As far as we know there have not been any search warrants. Imo

I have always been a little hung up on the idea of someone being held in a car in the desert for 5 hours. I guess that would have taken RT into the evening but all I can think of is what a sweat box that would be. You surely wouldn’t run the AC for 5 hours so I hope the outside temp dropped as the time went on. It just seems weird.

As far as I know and have read there is no verification of what picture was taken that day - LE has been silent - we only know what we know based on our VI - IMO

I have always found it troubling that LE has never released any kind of statement saying where and when she was last seen - this silence is deafening IMO

Yes, based on the time of the 911 call and the arrival of LE that would mean they let him out of the car around 10:30 pm at the earliest.
