I never used to believe in bad publicity can be good publicity but maybe it's true after all. 😞
If he somehow walks away from this without charges or arrests, he will become one of the number one superstars with a number one huge tour and record sales..... 😡

It's cases like this that make me realise what a corrupt world we live in and Hollywood in particular is not as glamorous as people think it is. In fact I think most people who are famous have sold their soul to the devil (metaphorically) in some way to get there. I just think a young girl 12 / 13 years old would have been very nieve to the world and bad people wanting to manipulate her for their own gain. Poor girl had no idea what she got herself mixed up with IMO.

I think it indicates how little he was known outside his fanbase. Lots of people Googling him to see who he is, and hopefully NOT listening to his music. I know I had to Google him when the story broke.

Yes I agree with you on that. I too had never heard of him and had to Google who he was. Also his macabre style music videos has probably peeked people's curiosity due to celeste being found in his trunk, which is eerily similar to what he does in his romantic homicide video.

I mean, are you his target audience?

I think -- or hope -- that his name and the song "Romantic Homicide" shot up in searches specifically because people were going "wait, this guy whose car contained the body of his underaged alleged girlfriend had a song called Romantic Homicide?" and searched the lyrics out of curiosity. At least that's why I googled him this year.

Regardless of why people are clicking on his music videos and content.... he, Interscope, his producers, his people are all profiting from the attention. There is a Young Fandom that is somewhat relieved he isn't their top artist on their Spotify Wrapped for 2025 (it's an annual digest of your listening habits)... but that still means he is garnering a LOT of clicks and in turn, money.

I say this as a parent and someone who transported teens to his show in our city this summer. To think he could have been on stage while young Celeste was already deceased and disposed of in one way or another makes me so so angry on her behalf. Not having an arrest now 3 months since her discovery is deeply worrisome but we can only hold out hope.

I understand why you're finding it worrisome that there's been no arrest after 3 months. To me, 3 months isn't long at all. Not when you want LE to make an ironclad case. One that will get the guilty convicted. The last thing any of us want is a hurried, botched case where they walk scottfree.

There are a lot of parts to this puzzle, a lot of people to interview, and evidence to pour over to make sense out of it all. It'll happen. Of that I am sure of (but still need to say JMO!)

"D4vd often kept to himself, but had a sharp mind and showed no signs of being unstable. "We’d stay online for hours at a time in large video game lobbies, shooting the s--t," the friend said. "He was definitely calm and quiet, but he was smart and completely normal." According to the friend

"What I will say about him is that he was always surrounded by weird and odd people," the friend added.

There were some interesting case discussion points brought up in this Nancy Grace program last month. She had multiple guests.

Around 26 minutes, Private Investigator Steve Fischer discusses with Nancy Grace the manner in which drugs were found at the home of d4vd.

A few minutes later she interviews a forensics expert who goes into detail about how the County Medical Examiner may go about working with bodily fluids- or lack thereof - on a corpse.

Early In the morning on Tuesday 12/9, Steve Fischer investigations shared they had been summoned in the past to testify in the investigative grand jury. And on Friday was handed a piece of paper telling him to appear again on 12/9, today.

I don't understand what this all means and it seems as fishy as the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Screenshots from the Twitter cuz Elon is a person I dislike greatly and doesn't need more clicks.

Well this seems very weird, though I don't have knowledge of the California legal system and so can't accurately judge what's going on here.

Who the hell would respond to a handwritten note and not an official document requiring your presence?
