We don’t know what conditions were applied to Neo’s bond. He might have to surrender a passport, agree to travel restrictions, etc. I can’t see anything mentioned but restrictions could be in place.

It’s only that he was arrested for failure to appear that this became public. Grand jury proceedings are held in private with only the prosecuting attorneys, jurors, and witnesses present. Defense attorneys and judges are completely absent. Essentially, the prosecutor presents all of the evidence to the grand jury (which includes questioning witnesses to corroborate the evidence) and then the jury votes whether to indict. If the grand jury decides the prosecution has enough probable cause to charge the suspect with a crime, they vote to indict. Formal charges are usually filed after an indictment and then the suspect is arrested.

It’s against the law to ignore a summons to appear before a grand jury. When Neo failed to appear, charges were filed by the prosecution. The warrant and his arrest is what made this whole thing public.

PS. I just realized I didn’t fully answer your question. A list of summoned witnesses wouldn’t be made public or anything like that. The only way we would know if a witness was called to testify before the grand jury is if that witness revealed that information publicly. While the jurors are sworn to secrecy, witnesses are not.

I think it’s been reported that a grand jury was convened in November. (If I had to guess, a witness relayed this information to a news outlet or confirmed that he/she was subpoenaed.) But we don’t know how many people have been summoned to testify or how long the proceedings will ultimately last. It varies from state to state, but usually grand juries (made up of 15-25 jurors) meet once a week or month for however long it takes to present the evidence and come to a majority decision.

They probably do. And if she didn't have any lethal amounts of any drugs, homicide will be on the table, imo.

This law & crime video has some background info on Neo. His mom bought her home in Montana spring 2025..around the same time police said D4vd took a trip to Santa Barbara in middle of night and also the time police believe Celeste died. Might just be a coincidence. I feel like possibly quite a few people were aware of what happened to Celeste and did nothing and kept quiet.

My personal opinion is that she had died by February 2025 as DV4D posted on his tiktok that he was single on valentines day 2025...the year prior 2024 he was posting alot about being obsessed with a girl who liked Hello Kitty (celeste had shoes, clothes all decorated in Hello Kitty). Also in 2024 Dv4d himself was dressing in Hello Kitty and cuddling Hello Kitty soft toys. There is also no photos of celeste or any digital evidence of life after the end of January 2025 (according to SF private investigator)
