I must admit I stopped following this one for a while but does SF now work for Celeste's family? I know initially he was retained by the property owner but his continued involvement doesn't appear to be about safeguarding the value of that property.

Also DO we know that Celest was dismembered? Because I thought that was disputed by LE?

ETA I have now read portions of the grand jury doc. So she was indeed dismembered but the body parts were all located in the frunk.

Still wishing I knew what SF's dog in the fight was, aside from self promotion that is. JMO
I think (IMO) that Steve the PI has become morally/ethically involved in this case, just as we do, that a 13/14 year old girl has been discarded so callously and is shocked that justice for CR seems to be muted.

I salute him!

Court documents filed in Texas reveal LAPD detectives and LA County prosecutors sought to force the father, mother, and brother of pop singer D4vd to testify before a grand jury investigating the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were found inside a Tesla sedan that was impounded and brought to a tow yard.

D4vd, who's real name is David Burke, is suspected of murdering Rivas Hernandez, according to newly unsealed records that had been sent to the Texas court, in order to compel the testimony of Burke's parents and brother.

Steve has said he works for the homeowner of the mansion on Vireo.

The family of Celeste has not made public announcements since her funeral. There appears to still be a memorial set up near the house on the fence with Hello Kitty memorabilia but that's all I know..

I wonder what the story is, if this was accidental? Premeditated? Probably we will never know the truth.

I mean the document today says....

That there is now pending in the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles the
above-entitled Grand Jury Investigation by the State of Califomia against Target David Burke("Target") wherein Target may be involved in having committed the following criminal offenses against the laws of the State of California, to wit: One count of Muder, in violation of Penal Code...

Murder.... so.. Definitely not accidental. Looks like they've taken that off the table.

This is from the dropbox drive shared by Steve Fisher Investigation.

She may have refused his advances and he got angry. Why else would he put her head in the glove box?

Or maybe someone retaliated against him by killing her and putting her body parts in his car?

Either have elements of rage.

The idea that 'she must have made him angry' is so offensive. For one, he's an adult, he should be able to handle rejection without murdering someone. Secondly, she's fourteen. He shouldn't even be contemplating having sex with her anyway.

Whatever she did or said is irrelevant. This is all, one hundred percent, about HIS choices and actions. And if education on domestic violence has taught us anything, it's that the abuser is always in control of their actions.

The idea that someone did it to him is not really plausible, they'd need access to his keycard and the expectation that he'd discover it and do something other than just move the car occasionally to try to avoid it being towed. Why would someone keep a dead body they weren't responsible for?
