That comment now has 14.8k likes. According to Google, TikTok comments can't be edited, which means someone actually said that on February 26, 2024, just 12 days after she was first reported missing. It's concerning that people knew something was going on, and yet nothing was done.

According to various people who checked, the comment is gone and likely deleted yesterday by d4vd.

Thats totally not suspicious!

if D4vd is stupid enough to be using his social media profiles and deleting old content he is definitely stupid enough to be the person who abandoned the Tesla with remains in it on the street JMO. LE are watching and if they haven't already they are getting warrants for his digital activity. Phones, social media, all of it. So there will be a very long trail of evidence of what he posted when and what he is now deleting and when. He is making their case for them so to speak.

graphic details about decomp and putrification at the link. User beware if you find the clinical descriptions of this process triggering.

I'm new here, my question is she's ran away multiple times, why? I read she always argued with her mother. Where are the parents, they are not showing them much. There is no way a trunk of a Tesla can be open without a camera coming on. To many on that car not to see someone.

Welcome @tenamh Haven't heard anything about her father but her mother and brother have been mentioned in the media. She apparently did run away several times in 2024, most recently in April of that year. Good question - Why?. I agree about the cameras. There should be digital evidence of whoever placed her body in the frunk

OK, so this confirms that this house they searched was the house where David stayed (as we surmised). Now, has it been confirmed that when someone was moving the Tesla around and parking it in different spots for a few days at a time, for about a month before it was towed, that it was in that neighborhood where this house is? (Witnesses reported seeing this Tesla parked in various places in a certain area during the month before it was towed away.) So was that all nearby this house? I would expect it to have always been parked within easy walking distance of the house.

Would we have to wait until someone goes to trial on this to find out what data was gleaned from the Tesla's electronic information?
I have wondered about the "movements" of the Tesla. I don't know what the parking situation is like at the house D4vd was renting/living in, so maybe someone else here can provide more information. I would think that if he was the primary person renting/living in the home he would have had the "best" parking spot on site (if there was one). So why was the Tesla seen parked at different locations in the neighborhood? Was he the one not parking right at the house or was the Tesla being used by one of his associates? If it was being driven/parked by D4vd, did he not park directly at the house because he wanted to keep his address private - either from fans or possibly from Celeste's family? Or did he know that Celeste's body was decaying in the car and moved (or had it moved) so it wouldn't be considered abandoned and towed AND while essentially "distancing" it from himself and his home?

I just can't imagine if the car was being moved around with her body in it, what it would be like to be the person that drew the short straw and had to do this. Years ago we were in the LA area for a wedding and we took my daughter to Disneyland for the Princess Breakfast. She got carsick on the way to Disney and threw up in the back of the rented minivan. We did our best to clean up before going into the park for the breakfast but it was hard since we didn't really have anything to really clean it up good. After a long day sitting in the hot CA sun (end of August!) I can only say that I was super happy to be the only driver on the rental agreement so that I had a seat as far away from the back as possible. Knowing how bad this was - and it was only a toddler's vomit in the sun for several hours - I can't even begin to imagine having to get in a car with poor Celeste's decomposing body having been in the heat for likely at least several days.

A dead body was found inside a car belonging to New York-born singer D4vd.Getty Images for Coachella

''The human remains were found stashed inside a bag in the Tesla’s front trunk, police said.
The car, which bears Texas license plates, had been towed to the lot after being reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills roughly five days ago, according to investigators.''
How did the person who towed the car not smell anything, if she had been there a long time?

I’m catching up but I want to add although D4vd was way too old for her he looks like a pretty small guy so that is possibly how he was seen publicly w her but didn’t raise alarms. He kept her around too long for her to be trafficked and she would have been seen on Fig if that was going on. His style of music is more emo - ish. I think maybe he was obsessed w her. It remains to be seen.

I keep trying to see any logic in having the body in the car and other known elements of this awful crime, but then I think of this other ongoing case and realise that there does not have to be logic, it doesn't have to make sense for it to have happened like that

In all the articles on this case the Tesla was being moved around in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood.

EDIT: This article shows the cross streets of the rental home. It is the The Bird Streets neighborhood. TY @missf

In all the articles on this case the Tesla was being moved around in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood. Do we know which one? I see the following listed on Wikipedia

1. Laurel Canyon
2. Beachwood Canyon
3. The Bird Streets
4. Cahuenga Pass
5. Franklin Village
6. Hollywood Dell
7. Hollywood Heights
8. Hollywoodland
9. Outpost Estates
10. Whitney Heights
I understand the rental home was on Doheny Place which is close to the Bird Streets. It's a very expensive location.

As far as I know, we don't know -- correct me if I'm wrong --
  • if the Tesla was his favorite or primary car
  • how many cars he had
  • how many dedicated parking spaces are attached to the address
  • how many other people felt entitled to park a car at the house on a regular basis

DailyMail reporting it at $20,000-a-month and that he and his manager (who rented the place) begun moving their things out

I wonder what the purpose of this is? Wouldn't you just leave it until the investigation is over? Not a good look... lots going on behind the scenes. I just wish we could get a statement... from anybody!!

It’s sooo small!

I found these photos of a Tesla “frunk” with the writer of the article’s kids inside (LINK to Forbes article), to give an idea of size. Though, a couple things: I think the model may be a model S, and the article is old, from 2016, so I don’t know how/if the size has changed since then.

Google Maps street view and Apartments.com listing both reflect a 3-car garage (attached). I don't see mention of designated/assigned street parking but parked cars on the roads are visible in street view and satellite views.

From what I can see in photos, there is no driveway, there are three single car garage doors right on the street and I suspect that hood frowns on street parking, it’s lacking, or nimby’s report quickly. Idk why he wouldnt use the garage but maybe it wasn’t available.

I could fit in the front trunk of my Model Y, and I am not a petite teenager. Not comfortable, but you could close the door. It's not huge but large enough for a smallish person crumpled up in a bag for sure.
