CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025

This is an error. I just spent half my morning trying to track down the source of the word "dismemberment."

The police said "the body was not intact" according to reliable news sources, such as the L.A. Times. They also said she was in an advanced state of decomposition. Disarticulation of a body during decompensation is normal and expected. It does speak to the amount of time she was in that car (11 days just at the car lot?)

No where do the police mention dismemberment, but some reporters and many TikTokers took "not intact" phrase and made it into "dismembered." Then the word grew legs and many began to use this highly sensationalized version.

IMO, no police report would mention dismemberment until a medical examiner had produce evidence from the bones (which there would be). There would be cut marks on the bones if the body was disarticulated by another human wielding some kind of tool.

So, that is not an indication of criminal intent (yet). We have to wait for the autopsy report which, I predict, will remain under seal until there's a trial in this case.

Anyway, other journalists/bloggers/tiktokers/youtubers have considered the idea that she died elsewhere and then was stuck in the trunk (a criminal act, but not a homicide).

We're going to have to be patient here, I think.
Thank you, this also applies to her being in a "bag" and "wrapped in plastic" because I've read and heard "black carry all", 'plastic bags" as well, and all of these change my thought process. One accurate report would be spectacular.

Fake IDs are very expensive, esp college ones. and if you look at celestes face, you can tell that she looks like a child and not a college student.

and I haven't seen any pictures of her in makeup so IMO her youthful appearance was not disguised except when she wore her hoodie up and big glasses for the general public

Do you mean on the right or left of the vehicle in this clip? I don't think I see anything on the left, but the right is a footpath/sidewalk I believe.

In the above clip, did anyone notice that the Tesla appeared to be missing a front licence plate, and the front trunk appeared to be partially open, on the right hand side of the vehicle?

yeah the front trunk is open a bit - maybe they just didn't close it properly before they towed it to the police impound?

Nobody was, IMO, moving the Tesla remotely. You need to be within ~350' for a model X and about ~250' for a model Y.

The car comes to your phone or into a nearby parking place. Standing outside watching your car move is not a clandestine way of moving a car.

Now that it seems likely she was dead for several weeks, everyone in that house is a valid suspect.

This is going to be a very complicated case to put together because several variables will be difficult to pin down: Actual time of death, cause of death, who placed her in the car and when did they do that, where did she die...

D4vd likely has a healthy orbit of followers and hangers-on any one of which could be the killer, or if she died by accident, the hider of her body.
In the Ashleigh Banfield video that has private Investigator Steve Fischer, it is stated that the vehicle was located about 150 feet from the home in which d4vid was residing.

In this case would one have to be outside their home to operate the Summons app on their phone and move the car? The car comes equipped with cameras..

thank you thank you thank you. I have been trying in my not nearly as articulate way to say this for the past two weeks. We have heard so many different descriptions via the press but nothing from LE except severe decomp. Dismemberment, head and torso only, so many things the press has said about the state of the remains but as far as I know LE have only confirmed severe decomp with the expected unpleasant odor that prompted staff at the tow yard to be concerned.

What a beautiful house. The clawfoot bathtub is stunning, but I don't like where my mind is going when I see that pic :(

? where are you seeing a clawfoot tub?

ETA: never mind, I see there are two different links with some different pictures

Heres another interesting coincidence.

6 September tesla towed, same day he writes "i start media training tomorrow guys wish me luck"..
- the next day was CRs birthday.

He already said to CR in a live stream that he'd "media trained" her so Im intrigued at his use of buzzwords since we know what came out in the following days.

IMG_3023.webp

The song accompanying this post includes the lyrics "can't control my feelings and I don't try to",
"I've made up my mind I wish to die today", "Glorious death"

I think all of these things are too incredibly timed not to be considered.

So ive never heard of that artist he used in the post on 6 September before either and have a look at the similarities here. Star stickers on the face, anime, another skinny sad young man singing about "little girls"

a song galled "Marcelene" has lyrics:
"Marcelene is it just you and me in the wreckage of the world?
that must be so confusing for a little girl
(indecipherable)
but im losing myself and i think i might lose you too
this magic keeps me alive and its making me crazy
and i need to save you but whos gonna save me"

Havnt had time to do a proper look at his accounts but I think DAB considers this person a cultural influence.

Thoughts?

I thought there were reports that the body was "dismembered"? That indicates criminal intent and that the victim was killed. This article, sounds like, maybe she accidentally died and ended up the the trunk?!

Right. Just "concealed" the body? Really?
Concealing a body could involve dismemberment and no murder. An accidental OD for instance. And a subsequent panic by an adult male who isn't supposed to be hanging out with a young teen runaway. IN that instance it isn't murder it's abuse of a corpse.

This is what D4vd or whoever concealed her body legal counsel will claim if COD cannot be determined sadly. MOO dismemberment doesn't automatically mean murdered. Not that I think she was dismembered period. I am of the disarticulated through decomp opinion. again JMO others will disagree.

''What we know: The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy into Hernandez and her body was released to the family. But the exact cause of death is still listed as ‘deferred’ as of today, September 29. The office telling KTLA, “A deputy medical examiner completed an examination but requested additional testing and/or studies in order to make a determination.”

Just what testing are they doing? The Medical Examiner’s office tells us, “Due to the ongoing death investigation, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner cannot disclose what testing and/or studies were requested. Deferred cases can take a few months before a cause of death is determined.”

'' Here in LA County, more than 200 people die each day. Herrera says 60-80 EACH DAY will end up with the coroner. Celeste Rivas Hernandez is case number 2025-14252.''

We saw a person can easily fit in a frunk intact.
It's when bags or packaging get involved that logistics could get thrown out the window.
The frunk just doesn't fit a lot of types of bags.
But a lot of types of bags don't fit intact body.

My students (Los Angeles area) get them in DTLA for $50-200 depending on type. One person got an entire fake birth certificate. That's not very expensive for people who live in a mansion that rents for $20,000 a month.

I'm sure that most of DB's close personal associates were skeptical of her being over 18 and I wouldn't be surprised if she enjoyed shocking people with her actual youth. Maybe not, it's just an opinion.

Further afield, one can also get fake ID's in most of Mexico's tourist cities and Belize may be the fake passport capital of the world. I'm going by what police here have told me over the past decade, this is just opinion. I don't have a source except student reports and talking to cops. Having a stack of fake ID's is considered a status symbol by some young people.

So JMO.

New info

THANK you. So it is indeed deferred cause of death and the big question answered is whether she was pregnant (answer is "no"). I hope the TikTokers read TMZ. I'm sure it's being reported elsewhere. I forgot it is Monday!

Marceline is a character in the cartoon Adventure Time, which is also hashtagged in the post. She is a vampire girl living post apocalypse. It's very popular, nothing sordid there.

Thanks for clarifying! Do you know what the star stickers on the face are about?

I don't know about his specific reasoning, but I'm aware of an acne product that's a sticker shaped like a small star that's been popular.
