A statement from D4vd's manager from your link:
So D has been known to say he is from the Internet...let's consider he says he was home schooled... pandemic shutdown was for him when he was 15. 15! So he had no real friendships IRL (in real life) and cultivated a persona. It seems Also a huge fan of anime / gore / video games / online gaming - his friendships were mostly parasocial, including perhaps one with CR when he was 16 or 17 and she was 12 or 13. Combine that with a family with not much supervision & D's rise to fame, which includes money and power.....IMO this mom of CR isn't going to have much control over their tween/teen overnight.IMO, it has to do with the fact that her mom didn’t really do much looking for her or try to bring her home. She seemed ok that she was gone and dating someone named David at 13! That’s not a typical response to a missing child or runaway. Not for me.
All my opinions.
A statement from D4vd's manager from your link:
“This video is false and the person is misinformed. This is the only time I’ll speak on this matter. FOR NOW. This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children. I received no emails and I’m no one’s room mate, I live full time at home with my wife and kids. My daughter is 14 and this news is affecting so many lives. I never received any emails. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California. Also I work remotely 95% of the time and my job doesn’t require me to have much interaction with any of my clients/David, as there are many others that work with him on a day to day capacity, not me. This news is tragic for so many and for her family. I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged. In the meantime, I am with my family helping them emotionally get through the news of this tragedy. Please report on factual information.”
This is the specific product, I believe. They're basically like small blister plasters: Hydro-Star® Black Star Pimple Patches
Spotify also put together a short documentary on the artist.... they go into his background in music and how he skyrocketed to fame.
Oh and can we pls get past those hydrocolloid star face stickers his buddy is wearing one too on his insta- they're simply trendy.
This coverup by a manager might be plausible if D4vd was a huge star, someone that the manager depended on. He was not that: Headlining a show at History is not nearly the same as headlining a show at the Rogers Stadium. I think a lot of the work involved with being a manager could be and most likely would be done remotely.Squirrel!
Reads like a pretty standard disclaimer, with heavy emphasis on the impact on family, etc., but I suspect he's fairly accurately describing the extent of his day-to-day interactions with talent and would be surprised if he knew about or was involved with the events leading to CR's death and its (seemingly very basic) coverup.
Managers may work hard for their % but covering up homicide/ death of a minor seems far beyond the scope of duties. IMO, JMO, etc.
Yup they are literally everywhere here.I just came back from visiting California in the Silicon Valley - every other car was a Tesla... that is the first thing that "shocked" me - ALL those Teslas!!
So - no arrest yet??
So anyone got opinions on his whole "Itami" lore?
His sheltered (he was home schooled and has shared how it has impacted his ability to express himself with others) childhood opened up the world of anime to him and he has shared how much he likes things Japanese. He's toured Japan a bunch. Itami and the corresponding anime were part of his Persona (which is also another video game). In the anime he had created there is a scene where the girl loses a limb. The girl depicted has long wavy hair. It's eerie. So anyone got opinions on his rwhole "Itami" lore?
