CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025

  • #681
That would be less than 2 weeks before the car was towed. Reports say it was parked for 3 weeks.

D4vd Linked to House Blocks From Where Tesla With Body Inside Was Towed
same article goes on to say:

Neighborhood sources previously told Rolling Stone that the dented Tesla with Texas license plates had been parking in various places around the neighborhood as far back as May. TMZ was first to report that the home was rented to D4vd’s manager.

MOO it was being parked in various spots in the neighborhood for months and months to try to comply with the rule that cars aren't allowed to remain in the same spot unmoved for more than 72 hours. the consequence for leaving it parked in the same spot for that long would be getting towed/impounded. Which is exactly what ended up happening eventually.

I think the three weeks is an estimate of how long it had remained in the same spot unmoved, not an exact figure. JMO
-----------------------------
The same source claims Rivas continued to keep in contact with her friends for more than a year after officially being reported missing, but all messages and calls from her abruptly stopped in late July or early August.
D4vd mystery deepens as singer flees home raided over teen's death

The above makes me very curious if it can be substantiated that it was CR in late August seen on video at the concert in Canada.

A Tesla is NOT the vehicle to use for any crime. To start the Tesla, you need an app on your phone, with internet connection.

There is a myriad of information that the Tesla collects, but the actual information is impossible to get, or a straight answer from Tesla on the information collection or use. Except when Tesla needs to defend itself, then all of the data is magically at their disposal.

In this situation it will likely be a benefit to LE and prosecutors by providing ample evidence and really assist with the timeline of events. This story really captivated me, with all the details coming to light. There is a lot more to the story if you choose to dive into the speculation going on in certain areas of the internet. MOO

I am curious to know who tipped off TMZ that CR was the person in the Tesla.
LE identified her, and then TMZ talked to her mother who confirmed it.
Is the brother older or younger? In the "family interview" video some one posted above, he says "I have been with him for 15 yrs" so I thought he was younger.... ?
He's younger. Doesn't look like him on the concert video but it's not that clear.

someone who had gathered images of the two together tipped off TMZ, who then called CR's mother and then after speaking with her TMZ contacted LE.

mickey2942 You are providing us/ME with really good information on the T vehicle. (And why I will NEVER own one....had a nightmare there was a national emergency and all the e-vehicles were shut off from a recently launched satellite. And, yes he is a genius. I had a minor conniption fit when D-land said I had to put an app on a cell phone to make a reservation to go into the Star Wars Cantina! Can't even say, "Buckle up, this is gonna be an E ticket ride anymore!") But I digress...Can a T vehicle collect info on the "combined weight of passengers? How many seat belts that were used at any given time." etc. I am going to guess, YES!!
I remember a "guard check station" that would record the weight of a vehicle as it drove out and then when driven back into a compound...to see if someone was hiding in the trunk...go figure! The drivers were never aware their vehicles were being weighed.
Ya' know, there are some pretty smart techies out there and of course they just collect all this info for "research purposes ONLY" wink, wink. This case will be solved with a lot of digital, GPS, cell, video etc...they are going to be the only reliable facts. All the human witnesses are in CYA mode because of CR's age. IMO

Agreed, BBM above..

I think YES to the seatbelt info, but unlikely on the weight. I can't fathom how the car could "weigh itself" unless there are hidden sensors in the either of the trunks. I'd imagine the owner may not be privy to all the 'diagnostic' data being collected, but with the right search warrants served to T.. they'll gain a plethora of information. It sure will be telling! They say, that the real value of Tesla, is the boatload of data they have collected from the vehicles. This data is used to "improve safety and efficiency" of Tesla. Of course.

Read this, it sounds good. But it is not in the other contract, for charging. Tesla is fiercely protective of this, calling it "proprietary". So, they vigorously fight any MSM hint of their data collection.

not sure about exact weight- a lot of cars have some kind of weight measure to avoid not having an airbag for a front seat passenger and not leaving a child seat in the back- but it might be like >20 lbs, Y/N. I know that people with the kiddie seat features have trouble just putting packages in or leaving them, so maybe also can be turned off by the driver.

Mystery deepens into Celeste Rivas Hernandez's death as authorities release her body, probe D4vd ties

This is from today, 9/24/25. Los Angeles Times.

In my mind I have always pictured her living in D’s Hollywood Hills home during her sustained runaway period, thinking how else could a 13 or 14 year old young girl survive, assuming she had no financial means to house and feed her.

But this article can’t confirm that’s so, as of yet. Had no one seen her in the neighborhood or just out and about? The few photos exist due to sleuthers and fans plus those from her missing flyer. It seems she was semi invisible.

And who is the “other Celeste”? (If there is one). I’ve seen the second Celeste mentioned here on WS but without explanation.

We know there’s at least one Celeste because D sings about her.

This is so sad 😞

From my own experience- my tesla has Sentry mode on by default, as I would expect anyone in LA would also. This records all movement around the car with 8 different cameras. The dashcam is also on. This video is stored on a thumb drive in the glove box, non-encrypted, forever.

You can use the factory key card as a key, or setup numerous phone keys, but the key sequences are recorded, so they will know which was the last key.

For your last drive the car records all of the inputs, such as braking, accelerations, speed, brake pressure, battery SOC, which seats were occupied, and location data which is anonymized to your account, but uploaded to Telsa and stored as backup on board. Tesla will be able to play back video or simulated video of the entire last drive of that car.

Many Teslas have a Pin code setup to drive. The screen is a perfect place to grab fingerprints.

Telsas check in with the app every few hours if it is open on your phone to update things like the internal and external temperature and car location. If someone checked to see where the Tesla was after it was impounded, that is recorded.

Of course that all depends on if Tesla gets the correct warrants and decides not to fight any of them.

If you look at the Google street view for the home, it seems it would be unlikely that neighbors would see anyone walking around outside of it. The homes are very large and surrounded by trees, walls, etc.

Amazing how much money it appears that D4vd has.

His net worth is only 2-3 million. Resting a $20,000 house a month, doesn't seem like a smart money move.
I've said it before, and even in this thread. It's actually not surprising to me in the least.

A lot of people don't make smart money moves. JMO!

this other TMZ article posted above FWIW, says: "Our sources say the way Celeste was able to navigate on her own was by having "multiple fake ID's," in an attempt to present much older than she was."

We do not know if she had other local contacts in LA; other places to "crash"... there would be shelters and hostels.... we also do not know if D4vd or anyone else gave her cash or a credit card, I guess. I still want to know if her mother was paying her phone bill. Seems it would have been easier to track her if she was. And we do not know why she was running away.

I am always amazed at how many different phones and phone numbers people in California have. I don't know why this is.

Not unlike Lori Vallow Daybell, who had an entire purse of different phones.

I wouldn't be surprised if the victim had several different phones.

I don't know if this means anything in relation to this case, but when viewing 1368 Vireo Dr in street view on Google Maps, the alleyway is mostly dated as having been mapped in May of 2024. This view shows two Tesla models parked across from 1368, the closest being a black Tesla and the other, a blue Tesla.

However, there are two sections of the road which revert back views from May of 2016, one of which is the plot point directly in front of 1368.

Seemed odd to me 🤔🤨 Could be nothing but I'm just curious as to why Google removed the two frames from May 2024...

JMO.

Since D4vids discord server was seemingly getting scrubbed by the mods, someone made a dump of the chat and organised it by date in case anyone is interested . Lots of useless stuff I’m sure, but also interesting stuff

To use it, click on the date you want to view, then click load in the bottom
ADMIN NOTE:

Just an FYI .. We do not normally allow Discord but we do allow social media that belongs to either the immediate victim or a perp/POI/suspect.

Although d4vd has not been officially named by LE as a POI in this case, it is apparent that he is, and the above link is therefore approved. Members may discuss what is said by him in the chat but names and comments by others in the chat are NOT up for discussion.
