Several of you have asked why Bryce's Mom was offering to fly up to see Bryce. I agree, it seems a very odd thing to do considering she was there only a few weeks before to get Bryce settled in to his apartment. Not too mention, what 19 yr old wants his mom to fly in and "rescue" him? Not many.
My theory is simply this. Suppose she knew Bryce wanted to drop out of school, move away, etc. It would make more sense that she would rather try and talk him out of it THERE, at the college and at his apartment, than over the phone. It's really hard sometimes to argue your case over the phone.

Furthermore, she may have thought if he left to come see her and discuss it, that she might never get him to go back. Would be easier to convince him to stay if he was still there.
Might have nothing to do with it, but I just feel like I'm getting vibes that Bryce wanted to cut ties with being there in Roseville/Rocklin. The only part that doesn't add up, of course, is why he left so much of his stuff there at the apartment. That puts holes in my theories.

I have so many disjointed thoughts and scatted questions. I don't know if they all piece together or if they are just random little facts that have nothing to with nothing. The "promises" Bryce and his roommate made to one another... The "saved my soul" reference...Bryce telling his mom he broke up with Kim...did he know he wasn't coming back and that's why he ended the relationship? ... Why was Mom so quick to be concerned and wanting to rush up there...Makes it seem like Bryce didn't want to be there in the first place or had problems from the get go.... But what kind of problems?...She was worried enough to want to fly up there but not worried enough to want his keys withheld...was that because she thought his gf was trying to keep Bryce at her place in Chico and Bryce didn't want to stay that night?
