Well, I can't find what I was looking for regarding the doors and windows. What I found was that the vehicle was on it's side, the passenger side. So, he may have had to break the window to get out. And also, the truck was only 100 feet from the water. So contrary to the thought of yellowcamaro that his vehicle accidentally rolled backwards and off the hill, it looks like Bryce was in it and that he was, indeed, trying to get in the water:

I do remember this. One of the very first articles, from SCV Signal I think, stated that Bryce told his mom Wednesday - I want to say around 1-2pm - that he was going to break up with his gf & he had a lot to talk to his mom about. Bryce was supposed to spend Labor Day weekend with Kim. His roommate said in an interview that Bryce had said he'd be back on Labor Day.

My understanding has always been that Bryce's gf & mom both thought he was returning to his apartment after he got his keys back, but that he never did. Just kept driving. The timelines show he left Chico at 11:30pm & called roadside assistance for gas at 9am in Buttonwillow. There was never anything in between. If he had gone to his apartment, his roommate would have reported that & it would be on the timeline.

W 28-Aug ~1:30pm BL told his mother he was going to break up with his girlfriend with whom he “had been so in love” for the past five months, KL said.

I haven't heard/read anything about BL's plans to spend Labor Day with KS. Was that in KS' article interview video (that I was unable to view)?

I was told the water was maybe 100' from where the vehicle landed

but if you look at google map it was more than a 100 feet

This pic of google map does not show the waters edge, however lower left had corner shows approx distance> 1 inch equals about 200 feet

He looks, in my opinion, like a completely different person than in all of his other photos (nothing to do with the length of his hair.) He looks like he is high. The photo was taken early Tuesday morning, the same day we have him on the timeline admitting to his girlfriend that he took "at least one pill."

How can you tell what time the photo was taken?

Or better yet ... please let me know what time/date the photo was taken or uploaded to that site and I will add those details to the timeline. Thx

I wanted to comment on my personal experience with adderall. I was prescribed this drug in grad school. I no longer use it due to scary side effects. However on numerous occasions while on a regular dose of the drug I experienced tunnel vision and black out vision along with what I expect was spiked blood pressure.
This was so disorienting and frightening I at one point considered calling 911 from a grocery store. If something had happened while driving I could have easily ended up in a ditch or worse. When thinking about this case I also remember times when I felt as if I was going to explode out of my body with a
Flight of thoughts and frustration over monotony of life. A scary effect of this drug as well. It is hard to explain the feeling, almost insanity like I needed stimuli or I would lose my mind.

And this was on regular doses and why I no longer take this drug

There is no way he was only 100 feet from the water. He would have had to roll down to embankments plus some to get even close to the water

Absolutely! After thinking of a million scenarios and then just looking back at the lake and the area where the car ended up, it just seems to make the most sense. Does anyone know how tall the dam is? Could a jump off of it be enough to knock you out?

This says main boat launch access road. Which I would believe to be Main ramp rd.

In previous posts I believe it was stated that is fell about 15 feet which would make the above statement correct.

Thank you for the pic of the dam. I am holding my breath for this Oregon sighting to be him, too! But if not, looking at the dam, it seems someone could injure themselves leaping or tumbling down it. I wish they would have done a more thorough search from the start.
