Also at 2:30am as seen in the video cam.

That lake is bigger than I thought. Did they search around the entire lake including shoreline?

Do we have any idea when it exited the park?

So, the blood was his, per Fb, as suspected.

When Bryce's vehicle exited the park area before re-entering it? Between 2:09'ish and 4:19'ish in the morning.

Right. So he could have entered the park at 2:09am drove up turned around and drove right out. Leaving 2 hours unaccounted for and he could have been anywhere. Not nessasarly in the park. Then drove back in around 4:19 when the accident accorded.

He was shown driving Eastbound on Lake Hughes (if the camera that was posted several threads ago is the correct one) at 2:08am and then again at 4:20am. He could have turned around 10 feet beyond the camera and spent the next 2 hours and 12 minutes anywhere west of the camera or he could have stayed in the area east of the camera for a longer period of time up to right before it was caught on tape entering back into that area at 4:20am....or anything in between. I assume all other cameras in the area including 7-11, stores, gas stations, lake, etc. were reviewed by LE. I also assume if they found him on tape anywhere we won't get that information.

unless Bryce was not in the vehicle when it rolled/slid/made its was down the hill.

Since there was blood found inside the vehicle, IMO, he was inside the vehicle during the roll down the hill. Also, I think his vehicle didn't roll the entire length of the hill from the tower. It only rolled the last 15 feet or so, according to the news articles. It looks like a very steep 15 feet though. Perhaps the hill's pitch gets much steeper near the road compared to the rest of the hill.

Maybe LE did not want photos released since originally it was thought he could be the murder victim found nearby.

Actually, the Sheriff stated that they knew immediately that it was two different cases because the remains of the burned body was a black man. They just couldn't release the fact for investigative reasons

Sorry the tracking part did not work out, but thanks for trying. If you end up on the search, take your notes.

Thanks to all of you that put boots on the ground to give us a better idea of the terrain and photographs.

Sorry, I'm still a bit confused as to the dog portion.

So, the initial dogs came out the morning of the crash? They were some sort of SAR dog (trailing or area, do we know?) They led the handlers to the water closest to the car?

(Is that correct so far?)

Then 7-10 days later (I want to say 9, but not positive so I'll go general), police K9 bloodhounds came out and they used socks and shoes and did a search from the vehicle roll spot? They led their handlers across the dam and down to the lagoon area where the scent was then lost?

Is that all correct?

TIA

I asked some of the same questions a thread or two back. I was not initially clear if air scent or ground scent dogs were used. It was posted they were blood hounds. I would find it hard to understand that two ground scent bloodhounds would be confused or their results would contradict each other unless the scent articles were contaminated by other searchers handling them or they were confused by backtracking and contamination by other scents.

It is being stressed that the amount of blood found was very small. Maybe drops from his nose?

Would be nice if they could clarify what a small amount is... Tsp? Tbsp? Bucket?

I assuming based on the fact the word "drops" were used, that it was probably no more than a TSP or so.

Is there any chance the car was pushed off the slope behind antennae area?

Could car have been intentionally ditched, & Bryce was picked up by the person, connection or ride he'd been waiting for in Buttonwillow?

This may explain one of the original pleas from the parents saying that Bryce might be "embarrassed"...embarrassed about wrecking car.

"He may be confused, troubled, or even embarrassed," they said on Facebook.

Blood on interior car could be from another situation?

I've had a nagging feeling about this also Leelee. A while back when i was looking over his instagram photos, this specific photo of a tipped (also the name he chose for the caption of the photo) porta-potty stood out to me. Bringing my thoughts back to questioning how much of an accident this really was, or maybe meant to appear as such, but has now turned into much more?

Based on the SUVs tracks down the mountain its impossible someone pushed it. The tracks go in a straight line and based on the terrain which was very uneven if no one was inside the car would have gone either left or right depending on which side his cars wheel alignment favors more. Someone definitely was inside holding the wheel.

My theory now that I went back at night is this:

He drove around and found a place to take a nap. When he woke up he was tired and accidentally went in the wrong direction. When he realized it he went to go uturn and went into the antennas driveway. Thinking he could go around it he went straight and didn't realize the road leads to a cliff and down he went.

This also explains him being on camera twice. His wrong turn away from the freeway the second time.

As far as the comment about being embarrassed, I don't know about anyone else, but if I went to make a uturn and drove down a cliff I'd be pretty darn embarrassed.

No problem! But don't fret at all. Theories are good. One of them may bring him home!

If KS had brought the items to the search area (and thus handled them and/or had them in her possession for several hours) and had previously searched in the area would that have a possibility of contaminating the items and or search area?

I had that exact thought when I first came across that photo.

Someone was definitely inside holding the wheel driving down to the 15 foot drop off point BUT he didn't necessarily have to be inside the car when it made the final drop. He could have gotten out and pushed it over the edge, correct?
