What's the "real truth"? TIA

  • #442
@ kslyfoxy - Did you have any luck in your phone calls to facilities? TIA

Wow - it's fast becoming a ghost town in here! JMO

I absolutely understand the frustration many of you must feel. However, we are not going to forget that Bryce's family are victims in this case.

Since we have hit a bit of a stalemate at this point with researching any new avenues, perhaps there is some way we can also convey a similar message to Bryce should he be reading here?

Ideas?

We could all share our own stories of things we did that at the time we thought, uh oh, I'm in trouble, this is too over the top ;) I'm sure we all have those stories... and yet all worked out :)

On another note altogether, someone posted on the Find Bryce page that some nurses may have recalled seeing Bryce recently at their facility, as noted:
Henry mayo hospital recently,I kept my orange"Bryce" wristband on and shared his story with all the drs/nurses in there. Some knew about it/some didn't. One nurse swore she's seen him in there...wonder if you can get any info or if it's in records...?

So the Henry Mayo hospital is on McBean Parkway. I am sure that rings a bell with a lot of us following the Bryce story! Kslyfoxy, or Dragracerz, here is the info: Address 23845 McBean Parkway, Valencia, California 91355 Phone (661) 253-8089

Hope there is a way to find out via their records...

This thread is about Bryce, not the FB pages, not the motivations of his family or his friends. Focus on Bryce and drop the FB drama.

Perhaps the thread just be closed in accordance with this "new approach"? [Not that I agree with this new approach, for what little my opinion is worth in this case. Nor do I have all the facts of the case.]

Doesn't sound like there's going to be any new info released or questions answered in any event. JMO

There is no "new approach" here and the thread will remain open for those who want to discuss ways to find Bryce.

Chats about how FB is ran or about our verified insiders has never been allowed on Websleuths.

Now, let's get back to the business of finding Bryce! :rocker:

Right now, I think the best approach is to check hospitals, institutions, and churches. Since I think he left the Lake Castaic area long ago, the search for Bryce needs to be away from there. IMO.

Bryce, if you are reading here, this message is for you: I've followed many of these cases. I know exactly what will happen when you come home. Your mom and dad and girlfriend will be GRATEFUL. For those closest to you, it will be one of the best days of their lives. Your parents will want to hug you and your mom will cry a little, with happiness. But you can handle that.

No one will be angry with you. No one. Everyone will just be thankful you are okay and your closest loved ones will apologize if they've done anything to upset you.

Your family will let the public know you're safe and okay and they will ask for privacy for you and that's exactly what you will get- privacy. You will not be hounded by the news or the police. There are too many cases and too many stories for that.

Those closest to you may want to talk to you and tell you they are happy you're home. You will have the choice who you want to talk to. It's unlikely many will pry too much. Those who know you but aren't as close as family or good friends, will hear that you're home, be glad and move on with the next thing in their lives. Coming home will not be the spectacle you
Might assume it will be. I guarantee it.

After you come home, you will likely lay low for awhile. The next steps of your life will be totally up to you. No pressure.

Everythings going to be alright. Please just come home.

Hitting the thanks button just isn't enough!

And Bryce, from all of those who have been out searching for you, nothing and I mean NOTHING would make us happier than to know that you aren't out there. Don't fret about the time, the people. That you are alive, that you are safe, those would be the most wonderful words we could ever hear.

I didn't get that sense at all. Seems like they are just trying to back off and let Bryce feel it's okay to make contact. If he's out there reading, he may feel overwhelmed and scared about what the reaction might be if he comes home.

Sounds like these people are doing whatever they can to find Bryce and they are likely getting some pretty good expert advice. I imagine you gotta' try everything.

A good friend of mine lost her dog today and just now I was scrolling through the Lost and Found ads on craigslist hoping to see her little dog and saw a great picture with info for Bryce! I'm so happy that people in the community are actively searching and still posting, praying and hoping. It warmed my heart :)

BBM - That's how I interpreted their new actions as well but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me unless they have some proof that BL is alive and just out there somewhere. But, I don't have all the facts of the case.

If they don't have some proof that he is alive (and not just the absence of a body) then I continue to believe that searches should continue and media coverage should actively be pursued. JMO

I am wondering if this advice came from any experienced missing persons organization, only because it seems very odd to me. It is so difficult to get attention and interest, especially for a male over eighteen as it is. JMO
