CA - Carlos Tello for child sex abuse, Fullerton, 2006

  • #21
Who said anything about excusing his actions? Feel free to click on most other child abuse threads in this forum, and you'll see posts by me advocating life in prison or death.

What you won't see me do is celebrate anyone's death as a few others have childishly done.

Sorry. I've seen some of your posts and I was surprised when I thought you were excusing the behavior. I apologize for misreading that.

at one time, that man was a smiling innocent child just like the rest of us. something made him this way. i do not believe molesters are born evil.
Who said the guy was born evil? At one time the little girl he sexually abused was surely a smiling, and innocent child. The article stated the creep had a suicide note on him back in 2006. If he was not convicted he wasn't going to jump. That was five years he hurt that little girl. Five years. Why didn't he jump after he hurt that child the first time? With the right help maybe this young girl will go on to be a survivor. Every relationship she will have in her life will always go back somehow to what this nasty louse did to her. He may have not been born evil, but the coward turned out to be evil. Self centered, and vile. Any apology from him ya think before he jumped?

Call me CHILDISH but I am very happy he is DEAD . I am very happy that he finally did what he should have done years ago before he started RAPING little girls.

He deserves no pity or sympathy. In his life, he made the choice to rape children and he made the choice to swan dive out of the window. He is to blame for his own actions in this.

I am glad he is dead and children are safer because of it.
Celebrating? No, but HAPPY that the freak is dead! :) :) :)

not to defend his actions.
not to make light of everyone's opinion.

but to make a point.

god help the victims and their relations, and as blasphemous as it may sound, god help the offenders.

~lightwaveryder~

It doesn't sound blasphemous to me. It is where my heart lives. My prayers for healing for those left behind.

Yes. But that man took a smiling innocent child and did foul, evil things to her. Repeatedly. For years.

To Hell with him.

Yes, God help him. God have mercy.

Because I won't.

I've long believed in a God who is more merciful than humans - which gives us something to strive for, I guess!

Like Paladin, I'm anti-child molestation, but I'm also incapable of feeling joy that someone would take their own life violently.

this was a innocent man at 1 time. so was Hitler and osama and couey and bundy and the victim of this molester. we are all born innocent and our choices as a adult define who is truly evil. it is possible this man was molested as a child but how on earth does that make a difference in the evil he committed as a adult? this man had a choice to kill himself before he hurt a child and stop the cycle of abuse. he did not. this man had a choice to live and face the punishment for the crimes he committed. he did not. i do regret he killed himself in this manner. much to quick of a death imo.

Nor can I feel any joy from that, SCM. This guys death throws more into the game for the girl he molested and her loved ones. No way can I imagine now how she will deal with all that's happened to her and having the monster who took her childhood from her dead. Huge, huge way to go for this girl.

That's why I'm leaving it up to him. He's better at it than me.

I'll quote your post in an effort to explain myself, although rightfully this is addressed to everyone.

I do not celebrate this individual's death. My quote was:

Fairly favorable outcome, I say.

Anybody catch it on video?

I say favorable outcome because of several reasons.

First and foremost it saves the taxpayers from supporting his worthless butt while he is incarcerated. Add to that the public defenders fees, court costs for appeals, etc. This way was much cheaper.

Secondly, rehabilitation for repeat sex offenders Does. NOT. Work. Upon his release the odds of him re-offending are astronomically high.

Thirdly, the chance of him finding God, redeeming his life and trying to make some attempt at apologizing to his victims, was infinitely small. Yeah, it could have happened, but figure the odds, right?

I do not celebrate this individual's death.

Why? Because like I said earlier, I do believe in a forgiving God. I believe that if this man was truly sorry then God would forgive him.

And call me old fashioned, but I think that bastard should have suffered a lot longer before he got a chance to ask for forgiveness. He should have rotted in a tiny concrete cell and endured decades of misery before his chance at redemption.

The coward took the easy way out.

the girl will have to deal with his death as she would need to deal with the chance he was around any corner had he lived. once this evil man made her his victim he put her in a no win situation. when your molester lives the fear of his return lives. i doubt his death brings her joy. she probably blames herself. he made the choice for her as to guilt of fear just as he chose her as a victim. we can not un-do the damage to this child caused by this twisted person. we can only hope she is strong enough to be a survivor. we can guarantee no new victim in this mans future.

I don't celebrate his death. If anything I think he was as cowardly and selfish in death as he was in life. He jumped off in a public place in broad daylight. I don't think his death was without "victims" either. It's not like he took himself to some remote cliff, where no one else was, to off himself. Witnessing a man jumping to his death, all because he is not man enough to go to jail for his crimes, can't be a wonderful experience.

No new victim I give thanks for Sherri. The trauma he has caused the little girl as you said can not be undone. We can pray she is a survivor. However as far as his death is concerned I can only speak for myself. Finally when I told as an adult and was preparing to confront the freak that raped me he died. I was told by the person who was supposed to care for me that day "It's over now he's dead". My response was that I was not. Part of my healing was to confront the smelly, ugly, louse. Certainly I have worked through that, but it was a small setback. No way can I imagine how that little girl will deal with this cowards suicide. Just hoping she finds some peace the poor kid. In a way he still held control when he jumped. Again, that's only my opinion, and feelings.

buh and bye (Please note there is no joy in this expression or at the man's death, the feeling is the same as if scraping poo off my shoe.)

i am sorry for what you had to suffer hun. the pain these evil people spread can destroy lives. i am glad you are a survivor and i am sorry your suffering was added to by the freak. we have no way of knowing how this child will deal with the sickos death in this case. no fear of him returning also means no chance to see him punished or to confront him. i can only look to the future. these guys dont stop. until we can convince law makers that these men should not ever get out of jail or they will just find new victims i will stay glad every time 1 dies. his death was too easy but i can not feel any grief for him.

Finally, a judge's decision in a child molestation case I agree with!

I don't feel bad at all. Pedophiles have such a HUGE re-offense rate and most cannot be cured. I wish most of them would kill themselves and stop the cycle of abuse. If you molest a young child, you should be sent a one way ticket to outer space.
