Per below, Carol has dementia. This is a densely-populated area, with many apartment buildings. Thankfully, there are not many ravines or places she could disappear into. If someone hasn't picked her up in a vehicle, I feel reasonably optimistic that she will be found.

Per article below:

Family members and Torrance police are asking for the public’s help in locating Carol Kurtis, an Arizona native who was visiting family in Torrance before she went missing Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Kurtis, 65, was last seen about 7:30 a.m. in the area of Del Amo Boulevard and Madrona Avenue, near her daughter’s home.

Police received witness reports that Kurtis may have been spotted near Tender Greens at 21247 Hawthorne Boulevard about noon, Tuesday. Another witness reported possibly seeing Kurtis at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, 3535 Carson St., about 8:30 p.m., police said in a release, Wednesday, July 11.

She was last seen wearing gray pants, a black and white shirt and possibly flip flops, police said.

“She likes the beach, so she might head toward the beach, but she doesn’t know what direction that is,” her daughter, Lindsay Kurtis said Tuesday.

Carol Kurtis has dementia and her daughter believes she may have exited the home through the garage before other family members woke up.

She was spotted on surveillance video about 7:39 a.m. in the area of Spencer Street and Madison Avenue, shortly after she is believed to have left her daughter’s home in the 3500 block of White Court, police said.

Her daughter posted a photo that she was found, okay just a little sunburned. I will try to find msm reporting.

ETA - Someone added fb link to daughters post in comments of the Torrence police post. Post still hasn’t been updated by police.
