A man who was fatally stabbed early Tuesday near downtown San Francisco was tech executive Bob Lee, the founder of Cash App and former chief technology officer of Square, sources told NBC Bay Area.

The San Francisco Police Department said officers responded to a report of a stabbing at around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday. They found a 43-year-old man with apparent stab wounds, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died, police said.

Police did not name the man, but sources identified Lee, who was serving as the chief product officer of MobileCoin, as the victim to NBC Bay Area.

If there is that much stress and anxiety for some jury members, then I would think we should get a verdict soon, maybe on Monday after the weekend.

If it is a hung jury, then I do believe that the prosecution will try NM again. They seem highly committed to getting a conviction of NM in this case, IMO.

Also, if just one or two jurors are holding differing views from the majority and are highly stressed as the media is reporting, then the time away (a weekend) may help them stand firm in their views or it may have the opposite effect, i.e. they may decide to just go with the others to reduce their anxiety. I guess we'll know soon.

Jurors in the trial of Nima Momeni, the man charged with murdering Cash App founder Bob Lee in San Francisco, were unable to reach a verdict during the sixth day of deliberations since getting the case.

Court officials said deliberations would resume on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

The jury that will decide the fate of Nima Momeni reconvened Monday afternoon for the seventh day of deliberations on his trial for the murder of tech executive Bob Lee in April of 2023.

...

"The fact that they're coming back at 1:30, I suspect they wanted to give all of the fellow jury members time to really solidify their decisions and sleep on it. I don't know if that's going to be a verdict of guilty, an acquittal [or] a hung jury, but I suspect they're going to come back with something on Monday."

@AmyLarson25

Today is Day 7 of jury deliberations for Nima Momeni, the accused killer of tech mogul Bob Lee. The only people I've seen waiting in the courthouse are reporters and Momeni's mom (wearing white jacket). Jurors looked tense and serious when they entered the deliberation room.

My previous story for more background on jury deliberations:

@AmyLarson25

For the first time today, San Francisco prosecutors of the Bob Lee / Nima Momeni case just entered the courtroom. They never answer questions from reporters about what’s happening. Jurors are still deliberating behind closed doors trying to reach a verdict.

@MelanieWoodrow

Jurors have reached a verdict in the Bob Lee murder trial but due to the time of day, it will not be read until the morning.

The jury notified the Court at 3:50 p.m. that it had reached a verdict. Given the time of day, the jury has been ordered back at 9:30 a.m. for the reading of the verdict.

Not even believable, jmo.

Defense's video is included in attached link:

Defense attorneys provided Mission Local with an animation video that shows the incident as they say it occurred.
