Seriously!! Are you saying he committed 2 crimes all while "living" in RB prior to the 12/27 incident he's being linked to?

And if he took Amber Dubois (little over a year ago since she went missing), there is more.

For some reason I bet there is more as well.

Sorry to ask so many questions. I was not close to a computer all weekend and am still trying to get caught up.

Do we know where, if John Albert Gardner works? Also has anything been posted about him being mentally slow? In fact, what do we know other than he lives with his mother and is a sex offender and probably now a murderer? How much time did her serve and where? When was he released? Who has been following up on this guy? TIA

look up ^^ you can watch the video at the link I posted. He was sentenced to six years and served five. That means he hasn't been out of jail all that long. (2006 at the earliest)

i have been searching for any other girls/young women missing in CA but not coming up with any other than Amber as yet...

Do we know where he did the 5 years? State or Federal Prison? Also, did the court transcript say he was bound over the sheriffs office to complete his prision sentence. Reason I am asking is that he may of been out on an electronic monitor if he was working . If he was doing 5 of 6 sounds like county...because you do 98% of our time if its federal charges.

Has anyone done an inmate search on him thru San Diego County Inmate Search for his release date? If anyone can place his details up again I will search him thru San Bernardino Inmate Locator. It shows active and non active.

RANCHO BERNARDO — The registered sex offender arrested in the disappearance of Poway teenager Chelsea King was convicted 10 years ago of forcibly molesting a 13-year-old neighbor girl.

John Albert Gardner III, now 30, pleaded guilty in May 2000 to two counts of forcible lewd act on a child and false imprisonment. He was sentenced in September of that year to six years in prison.

Court records show that a psychiatrist who interviewed Gardner said he showed no remorse for his actions. “There is no known treatment for an individual that sexually assaults girls and does not admit to it in any way,” said Dr. Matthew Carroll. “The fact that the defendant takes no responsibility whatsoever for his actions makes him an extremely poor candidate for any sexual offender treatment.”

Gardner, who listed his home address in Lake Elsinore on the Megan’s Law sex offender registry, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Sunday in King’s disappearance in front of a Mexican restaurant and bar called Hernandez Hide-A-Way in the small community of Del Dios on the west shore of Lake Hodges near Escondido, San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said.

Yes, I'll be here for a bit longer, then we're leaving. I hope they are looking in Euc groves close to the lake....the view down to the lake was pretty steep.

I'm just so grateful we're not now hearing of multiple attacks on kids from Westwood Elementary because the family home was VERY near the school - and many kids walk home in groups from there to the apartments/condos right there at Poblado and Matinal, and even to some of the other areas like Legends, etc. since they could cut through easily. Frighteningly, the cut through was right by the path I suspect he took from the family home, along the canyon behind the condo/apartments, and over to the Poblado access road to the trails between Moon Song and Smokesignal.

Reporters say he not only served five years for the charge on the 13 year old, but also had another incident earlier in that year with the friend of the 13 year old!

It described where he was living at the time of those charges as a townhome in rancho bernardo (but didn't specify the addy)

Thanks nurse - video is so informative. The reporting on this case and how it may connect to others is awesome. This guy has a history starting a long time ago, and he kicked a young person in the face - blamed it on her mom - what a jerk!!! Bet his juvi records would show violence and sex - too bad they are sealed! MOO

And this is our system ..... he molests/rapes girls ... gets caught & sent away to prison for five years... comes out and STARTS KILLING THEM ALSO. That's the "lesson" he learned: survivors testify. Tragic. There must be a better way to deal with remorseless psychopathic pedophiles. And waterboarding doesn't even begin to cover what I think that better way would be.

I know EXACTLY where this loser went as my boys would go to Westwood Elementary to skateboard and said that forest area there has ppl smoking weed daily. I wasn't aware this lead back into the park though!

Also if I'm reading it right, his dob is 4/9/79. They also said he lived in a Townhouse on "rock springs rd". Anyone familiar with that area?

Rock Springs Rd Townhouses are very TRASHY!! It's very dirty and slum-like part of Escondido which fits well for this douche-bag.
