CHP has issued a Silver Alert to all law enforcement agencies from Coarsegold to San Bernadino to help with the search.
Officers are looking for 31-year-old Cheyenne O'Conner who is traveling with 3-year-old Greysky Johnson.
O'Conner is described as having brown hair, blue eyes, 5' 7" tall and about 130 lbs.
Deputies say O'Conner is driving a 1986 Gold Chevy Truck with Utah Plates Y809NL.
Deputies say O'Conner left her relatives' home in Coarsegold Monday around 2:30 p.m.
Investigators say she may have had car trouble or run out of gas near Tulare Monday night.
The woman and child were captured by a store surveillance camera.
We're told O'Conner does suffer a medical condition and can become confused or disorientated.
