Call of stolen vehicle... person reporting said it was stolen by a suspect similar to the suspect.
Located vehicle at Highway 38 and Glass Road.
Suspect fled into the forest.
Barricaded himself into the cabin.
2 officers injured in gunfire. Conditions unknown.

12:22 pm rec'd call of stolen vehicle on Club View Drive. Reports similar to Dorner. Conducted search. Suspect fled into forest. barricaded into a cabin. 2 officers were injured. Condition unknown. Resources are waiting for authorization from SB SO's officers - they are lead, we are support.

Not positive this is Dorner. Likelihood it's him, not sure.

Can't confirm. Listening to scanner, not able to confirm hostages at this time.

Q: What resources are you sending?
Can't give specifics. Suspect may have TV, media. Television stations, please don't show SWAT. It will put LE at extreme tactical disadvantage.

Q: Involvement of Fish/Game?
No idea what involvement is.

Q: Been up there for 5 days. Sounds like this is him. ???
Everyone is hopeful that no more blood shed. Don't know LE conditions at this time. Best thing is to let us take him in, and let the justice system do their work.

No information about what the suspect is driving, if anything.

Message is enough is enough. Time to turn self in.

Citizen safety. The safety of the people who live and are in the area. Once area is locked down, let SB SWAT go in.

SB are in JRig - all teams together there. One 't chief of LAPD to SB, in their command post. LAPD is getting good exchange of info. Working well together, sharing all information we get, and are getting good information from them.

No report right now on any weapons.

Thank God we are approaching the end of this horrible nightmare for many people in southern California and the law enforcement community.

I hope he bleeds out (assuming he was wounded in the shootout) and nobody else gets hurt.

While I hope no one else gets hurt, I don't hope he bleeds out. I do hope they can, at the very least, neutralize him, so they can take him alive. Though that, imo, is somewhat a false hope.

They are stopping all the cars at one set of cops... then moving them one at a time to a second set of cops where they are having vehicles searched.

I WISH that first set of cops would tell them to roll all their windows down.
If windows are down the second set of cops aren't pointing the guns at the kids in the back.

I'm pretty sure he is wired; and has some kind of unregistered phone and can easily use his accounts from it; facebook and twitter included.
I doubt that sBS Dept will be able to establish any type of contact with him verbally. He knows too much he knows the drill and he isn't going to cooperate. Turn himself in? I doubt that will happen; suicide by cop or by his own hand is most likely how this will end. If they take him in alive I will be very very surprised. imo

I know. But if they WERE held hostage since his truck burned... someone should have noticed them missing.
If they were held hostage AFTER the fact, then WHY were they allowed to go into the cabin alone?
