It is and I think his ability to garner this much attention and fear is high priority for him. They have reopened the investigation into his dismissal and complaints and the results will be posted publicly. He has The attention of everyone and that is what he wants.

Another case where there are no winners. IF they find that Dorner shouldn't have been fired, he is still a murderer. All he can possibly gain from this is that his name is cleared. Maybe that is all he wants. (and the attention of course)..

I am almost positive he never thought he would have so many side with him. Very scary.

From Daily News's live blog:
This just in from City News Service: Authorities have converged on an area near the Northridge Fashion Mall on a call that a man resembling Christopher Jordan Dorner was seen there, according to broadcast reports.

Based on San berdo sighting this morning this could be another false alarm. But they have surrounded the mall in northridge
Waiting for them to go back to live coverage.

I have been waiting for a veterans' group or someone associated with the military to bring up this subject. The manifesto stated that Dorner suffered a severe head injury while in the service. It‘s unknown if that is a true statement, but traumatic brain injury patients can develop delusions.

Lifetime incidence rates of traumatic brain injury survivors who later have psychotic symptoms vary, but they are generally low. Recently published studies show incidence rates of 3.4% and 8.9%.

The onset of psychotic symptoms after traumatic brain injury is generally delayed. In a study of World War II veterans, Achte et al. reported that the occurrence of psychotic symptoms ranged from 2 days to 48 years after injury, with 42% experiencing their first psychotic episode 10 or more years after sustaining a wound to the head.

It would also explain why he wants his brain examined after death too.

The only thing about a TBI in this instance, he seems to be holding on to grudges from a LONG time ago - elementary school as I recall - that's not just a psychotic break is it?

I hope this is him and not some poor soul out for a shopping trip. And I do hope they hold their fire this time. All my thoughts and prayers go out to the LAPD and their families since I can not imagine what it would feel like to be hunted but I do hope no innocent person at the mall loses their life over this.

I just got off the phone with my friend and will share what I can.

The person in the manifesto who is my friends co worker is now in protective custody along with his family. There was heavy LE presence in the office as I disclosed before and that is expected to be less tomorrow but still evident.

M friend doesn't feel he is in BB anymore. My friend pointed out (my friend is a 26 yr vet of LBPD and 7 yrs beyond that in another jurisdiction) now retired from LE duty but still active behind the scenes.

One thing that was mentioned is the plate on the truck when found burned was stolen. That plate started with a 9 and his plate started with an 8.

That to me imply's he staged the truck.

I will post more when I can if it's something I can share.

I do want to add I chose not to put even the initials of the co worker, but the name is there in the original manifesto which I still have.
All employees were given the option to go home and were in many divisions in LAPD.

This may be a re run of San berdo. I think the lapse in coverage is the stations scrambling to get there. But the original report was from a heli so?

  • #420
Didn't they find a similar vehicle in Poway whose plate was stolen?

Here is just one story:
http://poway.patch.com/articles/christopher-dorner-license-plate-swap-saga-reveals-safety-blindspot

Also, initially the two plates they were looking for were:

The California Highway Patrol issued a "blue alert" for nine Southern California counties. Officials said Dorner is believed to be driving a 2005 blue or gray Nissan Titan, with California license plate 8D83987 or 7X09131.
