Wasn't LE checking all the cabins?

LE was reportedly knocking on doors and not attempting to enter unless they saw what appeared to be a break in. Since Dorner kidnapped these two individuals, and they were apparently bound (probably gagged as well), LE would have assumed their cabin was empty.

I would much prefer that their be no cameras or witnesses. Let LE tell the story afterwards.

Suspect is barricaded in a cabin. San Bernardino Sheriff's SWAT is on scene. Two officers airlifted. Judy Miller SBSD spokeswoman says LE from all over the area is assisting.

The situation is in Angelus Oaks - 1/2 hr outside Big Bear - north of Mentone. Mentone is down in the city. They are in the mountains.

disagree, LE should not be judge jury and executioner. It is one thing if he dies in a fire fight but another if they coldly go in to assasinate him. Half his issues are lies by LAPD who have a history of issues.

Hmmm...nbcla.com was showing LE checking all the vehicles coming down the mountain. Are they not certain where this man is? I am happy they are checking them for the safety of everyone, but wonder who they are looking for...

I think it is important that everyone is entitled to an opinion-even if it isn't our own and isn't attacked for sharing them.

And yes if the media isn't there to confirm what happened...there will be a lot of speculation..

For me this has nothing to do with assassination. This has to do with stepping back, keeping civilians safe and letting LEO do their jobs.

If you are looking to label someone an assassin, unfortunately he is pinned down in a cabin south of Bear Lake.
