Well, the reward has a caveat that Dorner has to be tried & convicted - so if he's dead, I don't think anyone can claim the reward.

Well that doesn't seem fair at all! Who posted the reward? The city/LAPD? That seems like a conflict of interest for anyone that offered tips.

Property owner where Christopher #Dorner is pinned down says cabins "supposed to be empty… no cable, phone or Internet service." #manhunt

I hope the reports of the one officer dying is wrong. I don't want this guy getting another officer.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. These media heads are reporting how many SWAT teams are involved. Someone needs to take them off this story and send them to cover another news story... like monkeys playing at the county zoo.

i'm a little confused....can anyone explain it to me

i'm in nyc...the news here is showing dorner TWO DAYS AGO in a scuba diving shop purchasing scuba diving gear - and the news here implies that it was mexico.

so..if he was in mexico..purchasing scuba diving gear...
why would he be back in california - big bear country?
he was AWAY and SAFE from law enforcement in california.
across the border.

any of you in california who can clear this up for me, thank you
i appreciate it.

He bought the scuba gear in California.[ Torrance or redondo Beach I believe]

I am shaking my head at CNN, they have just talked about using infrared cameras to see how many people in the cabin and in the SAME BREATH talking about how the media has to watch what is being said for fear he has access to news/social media.

Well if the rumor that one of the women got free and called 911 is true....would she qualify? Would they say it wasn't a "tip" because she was calling for assistance?

Would be nice if the two cleaning ladies could claim it.

yes- absolutely

Seems to me most rewards are like that. I wonder if anyone ever collects. Anyone know?
