I forgot to mention in one of the facebook messages between JW and her sister, they talked about socks being missing from the laundry and then joked about the maybe the children will turn up like the missing socks. The callousness shocked me.
Correction - it was a recorded call between JW and her mother so you could hear them both laughing at the "joke".

It is frustrating that the West trial is held at same time as Stauch trial and Vallow/Daybell trial. I'm trying to follow all three and it is a huge challenge.
Particularly disappointing is the Court's ruling against live streaming of Trezell and Jacqueline West trial. From the beginning, I've said if there is a case that cries for cameras in its courtroom, it is Orson's and Orrin's. I just don't understand why video is not allowed.

To those posting trial updates - you are appreciated so much! I'm following but can only read in the evenings due to work.
I hope for justice (no matter what that looks like) but really, really wish the boys would be found and laid to rest in a way that memorializes them forever. They lived. They touched hearts. They will be remembered.

With the prosecution expected to rest its case this week in the trial of Trezell and Jacqueline West, charged in the deaths of their two youngest children, the jury will hear from the case’s most crucial witnesses: the Wests’ four other children.
One child, 10 at the time, told authorities he saw Orrin West, 4, die at the family’s apartment in Bakersfield in September 2020, shortly before the family moved to California City, according to prosecutor Eric Smith. The child said Orson West, 3, disappeared soon after.

The address where the caller reported seeing the boys and the address given by Dean are roughly 2.5 miles apart, according to an online mapping website.
Dean was excused after testifying for the prosecution but will likely be recalled for further testimony once defense lawyers begin presenting their case.

Murphy would've probably done better by the boys. Murphy couldn't have done worse.
The neighbor, Hernandez Garcia, across the street is on the stand and had a continuous live feed camera. The police only asked him to review footage of that night they never downloaded it nor came back to retrieve it. The footage did not show any children during that time line, only a white van leave and return in short amount of time.

Stallings is on cross with neighbor across the street and showing footage of a stranger, Hernandez does not know, in and around his property on Dec. 19th 2020. He works from home online. Questioning him about seeing the Wests and other neighbors. Two or three homes had puppies. Stallings done.
He does not remember if officers asked to see footage before van left nor see either JW walking dog nor TW in the street.
I have no idea what point Stallings was going after. She was all over the place.She does like to bring up the fact that the officers are white and the people being questioned or interviewed speak Spanish.

Amani Thomas a high school sophomore that is in foster care is on the stand being questioned about 2 of his foster brothers.
He was in the Wests residence with the two younger brothers (not sure of their names) ? in Casa Loma apartments.Stayed a year until he moved in with Aunt. He stayed also with Aden and Adrian.
He tells how JW abused the boys at dinner time and specific abuse, screaming, holding down, choking and having them not tell or lie when someone complained.
She mostly abused the 2 foster boys. He would try to stop her.
He is going into specific means of physical abuse.TW treated the 2 foster boys different than his bio kids.
They were abused by the other bio kids at Wandas house.

He is testifying to the abuse our boys' endured at the hands of JW. It is shocking. I knew she wasn't some "overwhelmed" foster mother. She was abusive to them - physically and mentally.
I could not even type it all.
Stallings is saying he had necessities and CPS came and asked questions monthly. Stallings is asking about the abuses his mother gave Thomas's brother. She tried to establish one child was slow but Thomas said no.

His friends told him his brothers were back at Jameson and he thought it was from abuse not that the boys were missing.
Stallings shows him another statement he says is wrong and he wants to talk to police about his supposed statements.
He did not talk or tell CPS about the abuse because he did not trust

Yeah; seems I owe you an apology. Maybe they really did just adopt these brothers so they would have someone to take their frustrations out on.
