Ayres' father was a professor of engineering at the University of Wisconsin until about 1943. In midlife he went (fled?) to the University of Ohio at Columbus to the engineering department.
Dr. William Ayres -after having grown up in Columbus, Ohio from age 11 on, chose to attend the University of Wisconsin at Madison for undergrad and went to medical school there too. According to the University of Wisconsin alumni association, Ayres has never attended a medical school reunion- though many of his classmates have. He's had very little contact with the med school since he left.
Some enterprising reporter in Wisconsin should try to find out if there were any complaints about Ayres in Wisconsin.
Ayres named his son Robert Edmund Ayres.

In the "Diagnostic Interview" - a talk by Ayres that is for sale on the internet- Ayres talked hypothetically about a boy who can't masturbate because he walked in on his "father who was having sex with a neighbor lady."

BTW, Mercy-do we know for sure Ayres is still walking the streets of San Mateo? 'Cause I thought for sure I saw him walking down the street of my hometown with a straggly beard. Short, rotund, mouth partially opened...I almost drove off the road.

The tape is the creepiest. He talks about how boys lie about how often they masturbate. He starts laughing uncontrollably.. He can't stop. The audience on the tape is clearly uncomfortable at his weirdness.

He said that people who got involved in the politics of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - as Ayres did- weren't the cream of the crop. "The best child psychiatrists didn't get involved in this, " he said. "But Ayres was so fat and sloppy looking. I could never understand how he got anywhere."

I have spoken to the Suffolk County DA's office and the Attorney General's office in Boston. They are going to review my allegations which are new but easily verifiable. Some of the claims I made in 1968, that resulted in my being threatened and called a liar by the authorities at Judge Baker, eventually culminated in an investigation by the DA and the coroner's office in New Hampshire on charges of neglient homicide and rape of a child by a staff person. I was sub poenaed as a witness in a jury trial in 1972 in Keene, NH. I also remember Dr. Rife. Please stay in touch.

Eric Macleish, one of the top lawyers representing the victims in the Boston priests pedophile scandals, has just revealed in the press that he was molested as a child.
Macleish was the first lawyer I contacted on behalf of an Ayres victim, back in 2002. I was impressed with his tenacity and bulldoggishness. I remember he told me back then that as an eight year old he had "fought off" the teacher who had tried to molest him. Now he realizes that he was abused, and has been suffering from post- traumatic stress disorder. He realizes also that he went after the priests because he wanted to "represent the powerless."

I am surprised noone's mentioned Dr. Tony Shiu, from Dublin, California, not far from where Ayres practiced. He drugged his male patients and sodomized them. Fled to Taiwain but then captured and brought back to the US:

Concerning the Dr. Miguel Frontera child molestation case: A reporter at the Baltimore Sun has informed me that she checked with the police a couple of months ago, and they said they were "still investigating." As they had closed the case prior to that, the reporter believes that another victim has come forward.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 28th, at 8:30am PST, the court will hear the results of ayres' competency evaluation. (at the Superior Court in Redwood City, CA. Courtroom 2A)
