CA CA - Duane Masher, 55, Orange County, 10 Aug 2017

  • #21
A google search of Duane Stuart Masher returns a short list of results.

He's lived in many different states throughout his life (https://www.intelius.com/search/background/Duane-Stuart-Masher/~/Wichita-KS) including Kansas, Washington State, California, and North Carolina and may have connections in any one of them. He may choose to avoid Washington state however, as he has arrest records from there on charges of assault/domestic violence/disorderly conduct in 2002 (http://www.courtrecords.org/people/Duane+Masher+WA/).

With the eviction, it sounds like he ran. Wonder why evicted? Lack of payment? Violation of HOA rules?

It also sounds like there was paranoia going on, but if he thought the landlord was out to get him due to the eviction notice, he wasn't that paranoid.

Curious as to why he destroyed the phone and hard drives. He's definitely hiding something.

When I first started reading this case, I thought maybe online dating, a meet up at his place and things going sideways for him. I guess that is still possible.

Get control of him, remove him and items from the premises, do away with him, ditch the car up north, go back, destroy and evidence of who he contacted online on his smashed phone and baked hard drives.

Taking his sisters ashes though doesn't explain a lot though, cuz that would indicate he wasn't coming back. IDK
