Still Missing CA - Duke Flores, 6, front yard of his home, Apple Valley, 25 Apr 2019 *Mother and Aunt ARRESTED*

I wonder if he died from a pillow over his face. Victim blaming, combined with the possibility of a tiny shred of truth amid the lies makes me wonder if he was smothered. Poor little boy.

This is what I’ve felt from the beginning. If they are able to find him I believe they will find he was the one smothered. MOO

Mother, aunt of missing 6-year-old boy appear in court

Judge Lisa Rogan recorded their pleas and set bail at $1 million for each sister.

The Contreras’ next court appearance is scheduled for Friday at 8:30 a.m. Another court date is scheduled for May 13.

The sisters looked disheveled in green jail scrubs as they entered the courtroom to formally face the charges.

Jennifer Contreras had a pained expression on her face as she looked over to Duke’s father and other family members, who filled three aisles in the gallery.

Some members wore shirts with the missing boy’s picture displayed, and wiped tears as they exited.

[...]

County booking records show Jennifer is facing a murder charge and being charged as an accessory.

According to California penal code, a person is charged as an accessory if they harbor, conceal, or aid a principal felon in avoiding or escaping arrest, trial, conviction or punishment with the knowledge that a felony has been committed.
Both sisters are being held at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

I can't tell. I'm also curious about what the yellow bracelet is for. Just a jail ID?

I couldn’t find anything about wrist band colors at WestValley Detention. This is from Los Angeles but may apply at WV as well:

“Yellow wristbands are for inmates with medical problems or communicable diseases.”
