ETA...I forgot I don't have a pass code on my phone.

Erasing after 10 failed attempts is a setting you can turn on for iPhone too. It's in settings > Touch ID & Passcode, at the very bottom.
Does anyone know if Elaine is on the same phone plan as her mom? Or if she's on her own plan or if she pays it herself? I'm pretty sure if it's her moms plan or account they should be able to get into it.. That's how mine is. My dad is the account manager and so he can log into our provider and manage our accounts/get into our find iPhone and all that stuff.. This stuff may all some random but this is what I would be doing if I was locked out of my phone and was trying to get into it.. does she have a tablet or anything that you could maybe get into her gmail account and do those 'forgot password' things on all of her accounts until she could get into something? Or maybe if you plug the phone into a computer it might unlock or have some settings you could get into there? Does anyone know what kind of phone exactly it is?
Law enforcement can subpoena the carrier records, and I think the FBI can "just unlock it" with their own magic tools.
On the Help Find Elaine Park page they shared the cctv evidence Elaine's mother received from the Glendale PD. The footage shows 4 captures, labeled:
- Uber Pick up & Drive Out - Clear Exit of Uber
- Uber Drop Off & Drive Out - Clear Entrance & Exit of Uber
- Elaine Exiting Alone 01/28/2017 - Last Known Footage of Elaine
- Plate Reader
Just some observations after seeing the video, though I don't know if any of my thoughts are significant:
When Elaine is shown walking with her bf, she walks ahead of him, quickly and confidently both to the Uber car from the house and upon returning.
There is no timestamps on this footage given to the mother.
On the Last Known Footage where Elaine is shown walking out to her car alone, as she heads toward the property wall before she goes out of the camera's view, there are 3 flashes of bright light coming from the left. Then right after that, on the right you can see 3 small flashes of light afterwards, almost like a reply. (Someone else also questions this in the Help Find page.) What is the explanation for that?
Elaine's body language does not seem to indicate distress, even the one where she is leaving alone. If she was in a panic state (per the bf), her body language does not show it. She walks purposefully with long strides and good posture, hair swinging.
The Plate Reader footage IS very dark. You can clearly make out the license plate, but barely anything else. I can kind of see the gate opening, but just barely.

Wow, great observations. I'm officially freaked out after watching the flashes. Definitely seem slow, steady and deliberate. Not like an electrical problem or something.
Also, I find it interesting in the Uber pick up and then drop off you can see the car coming and going both times in the far background. But when Elaine exits, you don't see her car leave in the background because the video cuts off.
Or someone else walked out just before her, opening his/her car and since we don't see her leaving, we also don't see a car following her. JMOTwo thoughts:
The firsts set of flashing lights on the left are the headlights from another car that is parked there. Maybe the resident clicked his fob from inside the house to illuminate her walkway, as a courtesy.
We do see Elaine leaving that area alone, but what if someone was already out there when she walked out?
I'm torn between two theories. One, is that Elaine was progressively self-destructing and unhappy with her life which led to her disappearance. The second, is that she met foul play prior to leaving the community gate or immediately after leaving the community gate.
Here's the breakdown of information supporting either theory 1 (T1) or 2 (T2).

- Elaine suffers from "bouts of depression". Supports T1

- She had a panic attack and left the house where she was last seen. This supports T1, if true.

- On NG podcast, her mom originally thought she committed suicide. And revealed a troubled relationship with her daughter. Supports T1

- Her friends are shocked she disappeared. This contradicts T1, making T2 more likely. Although, I think people with depression / unhappiness can hide this from their friends, but in Elaine's case she seems to be closer to friends than family making me think they would have not been "surprised" if T1 was true.

- Time discrepancy between surveillance video of Elaine leaving the house (6:05 AM) to video of when her car leaves the neighborhood (7:14 AM). Supports T2. Until MSM confirms that the community surveillance video (7:14 AM) was an hour off due to the lack of updating the time to account for day light savings, this must be considered as the correct time. - Timeline discrepancy. Elaine Park woke up at 4 AM with a panic attack, changed and left. But video shows her leaving at 6:05 AM with no overnight back (change of clothes). This supports T2.

All JMO, I hope both my theories are wrong and she is found safe.

Yea.. I think its interesting they don't show us her car leaving immediately.
The other thing I find interesting is those flashing lights are definitely slow and deliberate. Once they flash a few times they STAY ON. Then thats when the other lights on the right of the video almost respond to the initial flashes. Very odd.
It almost looks like its an outside light that someone put on from the inside. I wonder why it flashed three times though and why the lights to the right replied. Could someone have been in her vehicle? Or was she signaling to someone with her key faab "thanks for putting the lights on for me. I'm good"?
Also, the license reader portion looks like her car headlights were not on completely. And she seemed to very slowly pull away. Has anyone else noticed that her lights don't look like they are on completely or is it just me (could be! ha)?
Disclaimer that rambling, non-cohesive thoughts will follow:
I also find of interest the unknown activities which occurred within the 6:05a - 7:14a timeline. Even if it was 6:05-6:14, does it really take 9 minutes to leave the area? Maybe she pulled off and was on the phone before she drove out of the security gates.
The fact that Elaine's car doesn't have the headlamps on when leaving through the gate is a good catch. That's very interesting.
About the abandoned car... certainly someone would have spotted the car if it had been parked there from Sunday all they way through the next Thursday when it was found. Businesses and homes are in the area, and the road isn't full of cars late at night or in the wee morning hours, and probably even throughout the day, as evidenced by the Google Earth street view. I wonder where the car was from Saturday to Thursday.
Also, the fact that family and friends have provided information that Elaine was having some mental state issues (probably do to the many recent unfortunate events in a short timespan) supports her BF saying that she woke singing and was anxious. Her state of mind could have been off, and for whatever reason she was drawn to the water or some other random thing in the area. Did all of the neighbors and businesses in the area properly search their outbuildings and autos, etc. for signs of B&E even after the shoreline and canyon searches?
Back to the car... In that her car was found in the on position and battery dead has me still conjuring up new theories as well. One of the things that has been rattling around my head is the location of her car. Is it possible she hit an animal (dog, cat, deer, etc.) and got out to check on the animal, possibly even followed it? Did anyone check the front end for damage of this sort?
OR while standing outside of the car she may have gotten hit by another vehicle and they took her. Was there any blood or other fluids on the road, off the side of the road, or near the car?
So many questions, and no one to answer them.
