The thing that she was pushing- a bunch of blood tests all at once- is not completely insane. They have more blood tests for cancers and other conditions all the time and the tests are more sensitive and with miniaturization and AI, not completely inconceivable that it could be but she did no product development, no wet chemistry, no trials or computerization..... she did not do the work.
It was all hocus-pocus with other machines behind the scenes. It was a con job.

Nope. Can't.

Others do it for her, she tells them what to say.

“Mostly my words, posted by others.”

And not every word is her word. Only most of what she tells a person is what they post. Obviously her posters also add in their own words.

Hope she serves every minute! She deserves more for defrauding Cancer patients and pregnant women with false results. Innocent my foot!

I hope so also and will add that I don't feel she got enough time. This wasn't just a simple fraud case. She hurt people with those false results - as you said. And she has zero remorse for any of it. Not to mention that she and her husband are already working on the next big scam.

The ego on this entitled criminal is massive. She needs to shut up and do her time. Hopefully, every minute of her sentence.

Disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes will serve just over 10 years behind bars after a federal judge trimmed her prison sentence by a year — while stressing her massive fraud still warrants serious punishment.

US District Judge Edward Davila on Thursday took 12 months off of her original sentence of 11 years and three months due to changes to federal guidelines for first-time, non-violent offenders.

"Non-violent". Like theft is just "whatever".

Shah also described what it was like being incarcerated with some of the most high-profile female inmates in the country.

She said she struck up a kinship with Holmes, with whom she lived in the same unit for part of her sentence, and took walks to discuss how to advocate for fellow inmates when they’re out. Holmes, who was convicted on federal fraud charges related to her failed blood testing company, is not scheduled to be released until 2031.

"Lizzie and I are good friends," Shah said about Holmes. "When you do poop duty with someone, you’re going to be close."

Shah explained that they shared a common bathroom in their unit, and when it wasn’t clean enough, they were tasked with sitting on metal chairs and inspecting the toilets after use…

Yeah. She admits to "trusting the wrong people". She was just doing sales, and expected others to follow through on the services. I posted this on her thread.

Criminals making friends with other Criminals. Good. Because they don't deserve real friends.

Love the advocating for other inmates..................they mean other criminals. And advocate for what? They are already in club fed, not exactly doing hard time considering the lives they ruined. But if I had my way, Miss Holmes would be doing hard time in a real prison since at least one person we know of actually died because she bullied and threatened them into it. Who knows if others may have decided to check out based on wrong test results.
