Just wanted to add that Elizabeth’s dad is Mr. Ricks. That’s Elizabeth’s maiden name, so I’m assuming that’s how they’re addressing him. Also, the new gf moved to Cali to help matthew with his kids, so they weren’t even in a relationship until after the wife went missing which is why matthew needed help in the first place. And this has been confirmed.

All I know is that the witness said Matthew was the one who posted on fb he was in a relationship soon after Elizabeth went missing. Just MOO according to the courtroom witness.

IMO, sure he needed help with the children because he killed their mother.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Elizabeth didn't have a boyfriend before her murder. The marriage was deteriorating into a horrible mess and both of them were acting out. However, this is not a divorce trial, but a murder trial.

Oh I agree, I totally understand but Elizabeth went missing in October, right? Because him and the gf didn’t start dating until the following March... so it definitely wasn’t less than 30 days after the wife went missing. I’m not saying he didn’t do it, he most likely did, but certain things I read just don’t add up or make sense.

By page 3, someone was already mentioning Liz had a bf in Carlsbad. I had to go backwards to page 7 and 8 in this thread because I know we all discussed Matt's girlfriend moving in with him quickly. I remember others sharing about the gf's fb page back then, and I think she might have been fb friends with Liz, too.

As I said before, I just wish they got a divorce and nobody lost their life or ended up spending years in prison, leaving those children without either parent.

Hey...new to this forum but have following closely. According to Matts FB he started dating Kayla one month after his wife's disappearance. I pray that Kayla knew nothing about this!! I hope he gets what is deserved. There is absolutely no way he didnt murder Elizabeth. I pray for her babies that they have peace and comfort in the arms of their grandfather

Did we ever find out if the “confirmed” Sightings were actually confirmed? I’m confused as to if she went missing and then she was murdered. Or if they really weren’t confirmed and she was dead the whole time?

I have no clue. Seems she was reported last seen Oct 14 and then 2 years later turned up dead. But she was badly decomposed and had been dead for a while. Not sure what autopsy report says.
