It may be time to revisit the statutes that prevented the LA County DA's office from charging MW with Capital Murder and/or Felony Murder. How this does not qualify for the death penalty is BEYOND ME!

My prayers go out to Ellorah's mother. Her body is likely not yet healed from Ellorah's birth and this beginning stage is the strongest bonding stage between mother and child. This love is the strongest and yet you had to go back to work to support your daughter and the troll who invaded your life. I am so sorry this happened. RIP little baby.

I worked in the prison/detentions/corrections field for many years....I have seen so many horrible cases and heard the unimaginable....But...I am sickened and speechless... this man does not deserve to breath our air....(I am truly happy I never had one like him) I don't think I could have been firm, FAIR, and consistent. I not only pray for the babies mom, the grandma, but I pray for the guards who have to medicate and feed this giant piece of poop....No death penalty...hope he rots

Am dumbfounded, stunned, shocked and numb by this whole thing. Why isn't child abuse resulting in death added to the list....and that unto itself should make it death penalty to my way of thinking which of course isn't the law...but really....no child abuse added to the list of charges? What about a charge of incest too......oh yeah, and not feeding the baby?? Wouldn't that fall under failing to provide the necessities of life!
