Yes, but it is not really a neighbor. It is his cousin who lives on the property. She said so on a news station FB page.

A neighbor on the Noosha Lane property recalled seeing Matthew Graham on Wednesday after he returned from Happy Stop Market.

Sara Chabino said Graham stopped to get water and had Ember in his arms. She said she did not see the time and only knows that it was before the sun went down on Wednesday.

"I get it that it looks suspicious. I'll be the first to admit it, but it's not impossible for someone to have gotten inside," she said.

If she was covering for MG, the only idea I can think of is if she told the truth and that led to finding out what really happened --then the entire family might be checked out and le might find out ..... other things.

I'm getting a Lisa Irwin/Ayla Reynolds vibe from this ; and that's a very sad thought.
It's just that it seems like someone heard of those two babies going "missing" and thought it was an easy way out , a copycat crime, if you will.
Not that we know any crime or harm to Ember has happened.

I posted a link to a NCMEC share on the Our baby Ember Facebook page upthread. There's a :rumor: regarding a discussion / mention of Yolo County (the exchange occurred between a cousin in the family, I believe she stated #BabyEmber was her niece).

All I can say (within TOS) is that I truly hope LE is monitoring this page. There's quite a bit of community interest (and no doubt) involvement, as they've asked for locals to search. Yet, the admins are deleting comments and members (due to "negativity"), which I know from personal experience just leads to more negativity (you can't please everyone - and when the page is run my family, what people have to say can hurt). :cow:

My heart is truly heavy as this day prepares to wind down, and the sun makes its way towards the horizon. The POI is going to sleep out on bail, a family is more divided than ever, and more than anything, there are NO ANSWERS regarding Little Ember! :tears:

She's all that matters! She's a precious, amazing gift, and I'm infuriated that anyone would dare to refer to her as an "it" :stormingmad: :no:

I'm hoping for a much needed break in her case - and soon! lease: let her be found alive, and unharmed. :twocents:

Yep. Speaking of "twisting things," WG's done his share of it too. Like saying this:

“He’s had medical marijuana prescriptions in the past for back pain and from what I understand, he was smoking pot without his current prescription,” the elder Graham said. “They (found) whatever they could to hold him.”

Because it's perfectly normal to pass out from smoking pot while you're taking care of your baby.

First off it's not true. The report says Ember wakes every two hours and needs to be fed. And secondly, how does that even make sense anyway? The most opportune time for a stranger to come in and steal a baby is when she's awake and crying?

I love my husband with all my heart and cannot fathom him hurting one of our children. I trust him implicitly. But if he were in this situation, with all this contradictory information swirling, we'd be having a come to Jesus talk. I couldn't support him not offering every detail of everything he could remember in an effort to find a missing child. And I'd feel the same if it were my brother/dad/son/family member in that position. Innocent people don't withhold info, and LE knows it. They just need to find sweet Ember to put the whole puzzle together.

I know. I don't think she's alive, but IF she's still alive, IMO she's GOT to be with someone. Maybe I'm a wimp but when it gets over 100 degrees, I can't be outside for hours without passing out, even in the shade - and I'm an adult who can generally get to food, water, etc. as needed. I agree I think they can't hold him anymore because they can't really charge him with anything at this point. I hope he told them enough that they can find her.

Did he ask her do you have Ember? (which would have been my question) I most likely would have also called my spouse if my child went missing and maybe before 911 but at the point I knew she wasn't with the other parent I would be on tilt calling 911, FBI, on FB, texting everyone I know. Frantically searching.

I just don't buy the way things went down. I'm not convinced that the baby ever came back home after the store.

If so it makes not sense with the I was driving around to calm her down story.....if she was asleep in the store why drive around to calm her down.
Makes no sense.
Did he (or both parents) drug her or skip her medicine to get her to calm down and it caused her death?
Is it possible he didn't strap her in because she was already gone?
Was taking her into the store cover to convince people she was alive and well when really she wasn't and he was in process of very bad deed?
I hope the investigators tested that car seat for whatever you test for in cases like this because that is really the last place she was IMO

With the impounding of his truck I can't help but wonder if they are looking for vomit from this baby which could tell if she had her meds in her and/or anything else.

Just jumping off your post... Oh I'm not ready to let her off the hook either. It's just that right now there's no indication from LE that she's involved and if she isn't then the last people she needs filling her head with cries of "MG's innocent!" is his family.

And if she knows more than she's telling then I'd rather see her with her own family who IMO would be working hard to convince her to tell LE the truth. MG's family is all about protecting MG. All I've heard from them are excuses for MG's actions. At the same time here's what JG's family is saying:

We are out searching for Ember, The horrible comments have been extremely hurtful to Jamie, who has not been named a suspect and is cooperating with the police. You can only imagine the shock she is in. She loved her husband. Think about if this was you in her shoes. She is a 19 year old girl whose baby is missing and her husband has been named a suspect, you have both sets of grandparents here. ETA: the Our baby Ember page's latest "Pinned Post" announced that Marc Klaas has joined the search efforts. Unfortunately it mentioned the Polly Klaas Foundation (NOT his organization, which is @KlaasKidsFoundation). There's SO much confusion, and multiple posters and possibly Admins on the our Ember page, that this new move may not be a bad thing. They've already disabled "Posts by Others, which is why my earlier URL is broken

All I know is things are chaotic, and I feel like the focus must remain on Ember Skye! :moo:
