Woman's body found on Emeryville beach ( link )

EMERYVILLE -- Authorities are trying to identify and determine the cause of death for a woman whose body was found Thursday morning on the beach at Shorebird Park.

She was clothed, police said.

The park is near Interstate 80, off Powell Street next to Chevy's Restaurant, authorities said.

ID on woman's body found in Emeryville ( link )

The woman whose body washed up on an Emeryville beach has been identified as a missing person from Fremont, Emeryville police said Friday.

Her car was found at the Emeryville Marina. The coroner's office ruled her death a suicide, and no foul play is suspected, Head said.

Her family has not yet been notified.​
