Why is there nothing new about precious Emma?

Still no news.. nobody seems to know anything around here. I have never known of a case that was so tight lipped. I talked to my neighbor and she said her son in law, who is a deputy, all he would say was "no comment and I don't want to give my opinion"

One thing I keep wondering about is on Brendon's myspace (Stacy's boyfriend or ex whatever) there is a comment on the 19th of March from a girl that says "love you b". I can't help but WONDER if perhaps that comment might have sent Stacy into a rage and she lost it on Emma. But there again looks like the Coroner would have saw some kind of trauma.

Find it hard to believe that once she said it was "an accident", that they wouldn't be questioning her even more now. After all, she did make several lies to mislead them in the beginning of this tragedy with the whole missing/abducted child story.

No reports from anyone if she has even left her house to be interviewed by LE or if they have gone to her home to search. We don't even know if LE has her car for testing or if she is allowed to come and go freely from her home.

Guess the only way to know for certain what happened to little Emma will be if the further testing results are definitive. I hope we learn more soon. It sure is strange that all the news articles stopped a few days after the story broke.

I cannot believe that the fact that "we do not know how the child died" can cause refrain from arresting the mother on misleading the LE. Staging an assault and kidnapping. Good grief.

Odd thing too, is that KTLA still has the photos of little Emma on the front page of their local news site. But no updates....

Really odd. So I talked to my dd a few days ago and she had heard about the same as we had and wondered about no follow up. She and hubby live about 30 miles from Stacey's parents.

I just got off the phone with my ds-i-l, who is a cop with LAPD, currently assigned to LA (down town). He knew nothing, hadn't heard about it at all! He agrees the whole thing sounds hokey, including the media void, promised to let me know if he hears anything. I laughed and said someone here will hear it first!!

He did say that multi jurisdiction could be why LAPD wouldn't comment, it's possible sheriffs dept is doing investigation.

In the last interview we knew about she claimed there was an accident, she must have said what that accident was!! So if it is chemical they need the documentation from coroners lab report to substantiate. If she lied there will be a whole new line of questioning. As long as she and the family are cooperating it makes all the sense in the world not to arrest her because once arrested and mirandized she's not going to be talking to anyone but her atty. (Does the name Casey Anthony ring any bells?) We have to assume LE knows what they are doing and knows what Stacey is doing.

IF Emma's death truly was a horrible accident I think LE is going to be giving a lot of leeway on the false report charges, knowing she is a young mother who's child had just died. I know we all agree no one acts like she did, no sane person is going to dump their beloved baby in a ditch and drive away. Which is exactly the point, her lawyer will claim some sort of temporary insanity and chances are that will work. Trials are very expensive, the best thing for all concerned will just be to insure Stacey gets the help she needs.

IF it turns out she lied or had a hand in Emma's death we can only pray LE gets all their duckies in a row and pulls out all the stops. People have to stop the senseless murder of babies, there are too many alternatives available when someone doesn't want to keep a baby. Murder should never be one of those alternatives, start making an example out of these over indulged young women. Start showing these murders, people believe every baby deserves to live.

OK- This is has been TOO long for an investigation to go on with NO arrests OR suspects??? I did some digging in some our smaller LA newspapers, and found soem things I dont remember seeing in prior post-
Before you read, them- the WORST part of all of this is that NOT ONE story has been updated in more than 10 freaking DAYS!!!!! WHY???????

I must be hard reading horrible things about your family whether they are guilty or not! It seems we have sluethed out more infor thru reader's comments, than any actual article.

In MY Dreams, I click on that link EVERY morning in hopes they updated her story-they did add a couple pics of her smiling- She truly was a VERY happy baby- Imagine the look on her face as Stacey did what ever she did to her- I hope that look haunts her forever!!!

I know! She was such a beautiful little girl.

And even just imagining the look on her face, it makes my eyes well up with tears.

Thanks for posting this Lovejac.

I'm sure many of us who have been trying to find out the "true story" behind little Emma's death are still in the dark as far as media coverage and no follow up information or anything that LE will share with those of us who care about what really happened to this beautiful baby.

With all the recent coverage of Caylee, Haleigh and now the discovery of Sandra Cantu, we would assume that the LE and media would be covering this story. If anything, and if the death of this baby was accidental, and LE knows the results of the autopsy, surely the message should get out as to what supposed "accident" caused Emma to die.

It would help to inform the public of the results as soon as possible to prevent another tragic death of a baby or toddler.

Something isn't right here. Don't understand why there is nothing about what happened to Emma. Will we be left in the dark? Will her mother be free to live a normal life after lying about and staging an abduction? Never heard or seen anything like this being so "hidden" from the public on the death of a baby.

Tomorrow will be 20 days since Emma's mom lied about the "fake abduction" of her baby. 20 days, and supposedly an autopsy was done. We still know nothing about the results of the autopsy. Mom is free, living at home as far as we know (and we don't know much).

LE removed her little body and stated an autopsy would be done. 20 days. No answers, No Media and Mom is home with family? Makes no sense to me. No results from the autopsy yet? No charges for dumping a body and outright lying to set up an abduction claim? What gives?

Not that i have anthing positive to , but NOTHING new here on the local front. One of the news stations still have a ohoto gallery (with NO STORY) and there is NOTHING else and I checked approx 10 papers and news stations- :waitasec:

I tell yo one thing, God forbid, but if one of my loved ones was killed in ANY manner, they wouldnt be able to shut me up even if I had to take it online. There is absolutely NOTHING on Emma!!! She deosnt deserve this!!! :furious:
