Yah could it be possible that the scum bag has taken LE to the area he dumped Emmanuel but as it's been some time, he's no longer there due to animal activity?
If that was the case though, surely they would spend longer at that scene and forensics would be working it still currently? There would be traces I would imagine and the dogs would go nuts.

Oh gosh, it hadn’t occurred to me that baby Emmanuel could be bones by now! I can’t help but think of Jesse Wilson, only bones found and though LE strongly suspected his adoptive mother they couldn’t come up with enough evidence to arrest her.

Let’s hope Jake has confessed! JMO
