seems to me gbi... great bodily injury enhancement/increased charges should have been applied by prosecution in the case against jh and mother involving the 10 week old child.

Main stream media isn’t going to use the pc code and she has not been convicted so it’s still suspicion of murder. Pc 187a is murder w Malice aforethought it’s just the exact pc code she was charged w and all jail systems use an abbreviated descriptor

Not to be gruesome, but this time of year, I doubt he will be found.

But, I have always been surprised when bodies, well hidden, are found. One was Caylee Anthony, tossed deep into literally a swamp area off a road, and Ray Kronk decides to stop at that area, and identified something like remains. There was another body found, that was absolutely surprising, Quinton Simon, found in a landfill.

I believe, sometimes, there is some sort of compelling spirit that leads the person to find the body. Because it seems so inexplicable. Something beyond our realm.

Whoa, I had to look it up, and I still cannot fathom how destroying your very own ten-week old baby girl can in any way, shape, form or manner be considered non-violent, which is what I see here in Prop. 57 California.

IMO he’s the definition of violent.

He's a wrecking ball in the presence of unprotected children. And a judge agreed with a plea deal to set that wrecking ball free to do it all again after his near-complete destruction of a 10-week old infant in his care.

Whatever the complicity of JH's then-wife and that baby's mother, SHE was the one who cared enough about the life of that baby to get her to a hospital when she refused to feed (unlike in this case when both parents staged an abduction). That would have weighed heavily in my mind as to which of the two parents bore primary responsibility for the disabling injuries were I that DA negotiating a plea deal or a judge considering whether to make it official. No deal. Let a jury hear the case.

According to KTLA Mom is still professing her innocence even after Dad assisted in the search of a certain area. So now I am questioning.. I’m not very good at math, but I count at least two babies with whom JH lived who are either dead, or dead for all intents and purposes. Oh right, they were both also his children. Gee, how “coincidental.”

It's reasonable, imo, to think the parent with a known history of beating a baby is more violent than the other, but that's not the same as being sympathetic to a mom charged with murder.

They are BOTH charged with murder and, as far as I've noticed, people comprehend that.

I wonder what they are using to determine what is a non violent crime. I know when they passed Prop 57 here in California there was a lot of uproar over what was considered a non violent crime when it came to early release because the list of what is considered a violent crime by the CPC is limited to certain crimes. If they are going by CPC, what he was charged with wouldn't be considered a violent offense I believe.

I'm going to blame the prosecutor for putting together the deal. I'm sure the initial charges were accurate to the crime but they agreed to lesser charges so he would plead guilty and get the case over with. There was no one to advocate for Promise and demand that the parents be charged appropriately.
