The sheriff said that there was no jail house confession...."it didn't happen."
Did anyone here post the court documents? Judge's name should be on them. The DA said that the sentencing judge in 2023 was a visiting judge from San Bernardino County. He didn't give his name.
Bath time, reading books, hugs, kisses or smiles? Monsters! They are biding their time so the autopsy will never tell the tale. I have a hard time the mom is telling the truth. She shed not a tear over her missing baby. Can someone confirm or deny that the previous child who most recently suffered at JH’s hands is not also the child of this lady?
Sheriff: there was a call for service to eth residence generated by Jake that we investigated concerning the child abuse case. That is all I can give you on that.
Where are they going to find jury members who are able to be unbiased? Not a DP case due to no special circumstances.
NOT INTERESTED IN A PLEA DEAL.
They want a trial.
Good.
I wonder what makes them sure he was abused over time.It is beyond frustrating that the search for Emmanuel's remains is such an uphill battle... no camera footage, no idea what is true... and the timeline is shaky. I remember when they were able to cordon off parts of the landfill to find little Quinton Simon. That was SO sad but so touching (special agents carried his remains in a box wrapped with tue flag.)
Emmanuel was said to be beaten over time, which is why both parents are charged. Let's hope LE has all the receipts to back this up.
This ,"visiting judge" needs to be named, shamed, and let go!
The stress at that presser was so palpable. The guy "losing sleep" & wanting to do his own search definitely ruffled feathers. Hoping LE can include the publics help when they find it appropriate.
Judge Jorge Hernandez of Riverside County is the judge in question, I believe. The DA said that the sentencing judge in 2023 was a visiting judge from San Bernardino County. He didn't give his name.

IMO.
Thanks that is obvious to me now but in my head I was thinking deferred prosecution and couldn't fathom why that was even mentioned.Death Penalty
Well, dang, I need to find those court documents, then. I'm fully invested and want to send him an email or three.I also thought that he was the judge (based on comments I have read,) but he is from Riverside County, and the DA definitely said that the sentencing judge was a visiting judge from San Bernardino County.

Comment about the visiting judge reported by KTLA.
During the morning news conference, Riverside County District Attorney Michael Hestrin said they “have a pretty strong indication of where the remains of baby Emmanuel are,” and went after the judge in Jake Haro’s 2023 child abuse case for not sending him to prison.
“What we wanted out of the case was prison. We believed it was a prison case and that Jake Haro should have gone to prison. Jake Haro pled straight up to the court … In this case, a judge here in Riverside County, who happened to have been a visiting judge from San Bernardino County, gave Mr. Haro a suspended sentence,” Hestrin said.
*****
Hestrin said the judge essentially chose to give Jake Haro probation, which he described as an “outrageous” error in judgment. “I don’t have a problem saying that,” Hestrin said. “If that judge had done his job, which he should have done, Emmanuel would be alive today.”
Entin never did say who gave him that info about an alleged confession, just "sources tell me".Are we allowed to use KTLA as a source? They posted this a little while ago, which I thought was contrary to what the DA said at the press conference:
