Sorry, that was a type o, I meant EC, sorry, I'll correct it.
Oh ok, thank you for the reply! I thought I missed something big somewhere along the line.

Marg where is OZ?
If CL's fingerprints are not found and there is no actual DNA evidence linking him specifically to the crime then it is possible that his defense team will try the Casey Anthony tactic. That is to say that they might purposefully throw Nicole under the bus (with Nicole playing along) to create reasonable doubt. 'It could have been Nicole using the car, it could have been Nicole using the gun, conducting the searches, she was jealous...'etc. It could work. Never trust a jury until they come back with a proper verdict AND they are all individually polled.

As much as I do not believe MB the best explanation I can come up with to support his story is that the people in the red car have nothing to do with this case. They saw the car parked in the middle of nowhere and decided to burglarize it.EC either left the door unlocked or they were able to jimmy the door because they are thieves.I seam to remember MB said the red car was in gear something a thief might do.As far as why CL would then come back with someone else and move the car 100 feet the only thing I have is after the people in the red car managed to destroy the evidence of his tire tracks and foot print leading from her car to his keeping to form (computer search, shell casings down the well, asking a friend how to get rid of a body) he manages to also come back and leave fresh tire tracks and footprints for LE to find.If the man in the red car that MB saw on Saturday was JC then he would have known where her car was on Saturday and therefor would have lied to LE when he called in the missing person report on his wife the following day (Sunday) and pretended not to know where her car was. I'm as stumped as you. I really would love to hear from LE about this red car. I'm worried it might have no explanation and will be used as a tool by the defense to try and create reasonable doubt.
Circling back to why the car was moved. Just maybe...Let's say Nichole sees Erin's car parked off road. Her husband has left for the day too. hmmm. She calls Jon to tell him her suspicions that Chris and Erin are together. They go back to the car together. They move it just enough to let Erin and Chris "know" that they know they are together. I accept the witness's account 100 % and his description of the man in the car matches Jon, not Chris. And we all see that Nichole could easily pass for Erin. (And wouldn't the timeline still have Chris and Erin at JTNP??) There is no warrant for a red car because Nichole and Jon openly acknowledge they met up to look for their spouses. Even in a borrowed red car, it doesn't matter and won't be released as pertinent information. Jon doesn't call and report Erin missing until the next day because he figures Erin is with this, he's been down this road already, is ticked off and really who thinks that murder would be involved?? Just a theory.
I do know that if I had to live across from the women that was sleeping with my husband I'd probably come across to strangers as an evil b***h too. I feel it too, but why are we so tough on Nichole?

I like how she says that she could see how those statements made the detectives come to conclusions but they really twisted it. I would like to know what she feels the correct context of "they will never find the body" is. Or how about "my husband cant keep his lies straight." I cant think of any rhetoric that would precede that that would change the conclusions. The only thing that I have read in MSM that backs up the "asking people to go hunting with him prior to that day" rumor was when IM stated in her lengthy "backpedaling" audio interview that CL was supposed to go with two of his friends out that morning but they ended up not going with him. (Approximately 16 minutes into the audio interview.) She never says where they were supposed to go with him that morning, just stated that if he had been able to get ahold of them and had taken them with him as planned that everything would be different and he wouldn't have had to worry about anything. (I believe when they refer to the 29th that they actually meant the 28th.) Funny she says "that morning" and not "that day". Makes me think whatever happened to Erin occurred that morning.
Also, in listening to the interview again, IM states that she had absolutely no clue that Erin was pregnant again. (Though, didn't others who worked at the Horse Rescue know she was pregnant again? I can't imagine anyone at that Rescue knowing something that IM didn't herself know....????)

She is going to be a lot of fun for the Prosecution in this case, I can already tell. Yikes!
BBM In my case, I'm so tough on Nichole because of her comments to IM.
If I thought my husband was having an affair with the woman next door, I would be an evil *****, too. No doubt about it. But, if I thought he killed her? I would be physically ill and demanding to know if he did it. And as soon as I knew he did it, I would be GONE. In fact, if he denied it but I really thought he did it, I would still be gone. I mean, really, it is pretty huge for a wife to think her husband killed somebody. Once you've gone down that road, it's pretty much a one-way street and you should sleep elsewhere, for the child's sake as well as your own. Who would want their child living in that tension? You know the poor baby has figured out a lot more than anyone would expect. What I would not do is harp at him for how stupid he was for not being able to keep his story straight and bragging that LE didn't get anything from me.
Those are not the comments of someone who is horrified and hurt by her husband's affair. Not the comments of someone who is sort of shell-shocked by the whole situation and wondering in the back of her mind if her husband might have done away with Erin. It's not even the behavior of someone who is angry at the situation but still believes her husband would never murder a woman in cold blood. That is the strident verbal harping of someone who is royally pissed off that her husband has made such a mess. And that is why I'm so tough on Nichole.
BBM. Does she have anywhere to go? Maybe she feels that if she sticks by him his family will continue to help her? Or maybe she and the child will continue to get some of his military benefits as long as she doesn't divorce him? I really have no idea. Just throwing possibilities out there.
This is very likely the case. But she is just a baby herself and has a lot of life ahead of her. There should be nothing stopping her from starting over. I hope that if she doesnt have any involvement that she gets some faith in herself and maybe a little bit of moxie to move on and take the opportunity to show her daughter that you dont have to hang onto a cheater.BBM.
