I guess my question is...was either pregnancy confirmed by doctors, etc.? Or the miscarriage?

This is the best I have found in MSM regarding Erin's second pregnancy. The following is from her mother:

"We don't know exactly how far along she is with this pregnancy, she only found out about the pregnancy two weeks before she went missing and a doctor hasn't confirmed a due date yet. She has that appointment set for next week," Heavilin said.

If you're remembering it wrong so am I. I thought they were in a duplex that wasn't on base. ETA: IMO and all. I don't know for certain where they lived. That's just how I remembered it as well.

No, they were on base which is why the video of anyone leaving or returning to the base on the day she disappeared is very important to the case.

No, they lived on the base.

"...who lived next to Corwin on the base..."

And this.....
- The premises at 6650 Jasmine St, apartment #F, Twenty Nine Palms
- The premises at 6650 Jasmine St, apartment #D, Twenty Nine Palms

The street addresses in the warrants appear to refer to Jasmine Drive apartments on the Marine base.

I was thinking that same thing! I should hope anyone who knew I'd had a miscarriage would also be the slightest bit concerned that I was missing months later.

Yes, but instead, her most passionate statement was, "It must have been devastating for Nicole."...this statement resonates with me more than any.

Are there roads going into/out of JTNP that might not have video surveillance? In other words, might a person enter JTNP on a main road where there are cameras, but then leave JTNP by a road that doesn't? I've read that there are such roads, but I was wondering if someone from the area might know for sure.

My source that he was off the base (JC) after the disappearance of his wife was CH5 KLAC a local TV station. I assumed it was to stay briefly with relatives who came to visit. It was live no LINK haha

Imo everything related to pregnancy seems to be someone quoting what Erin said, or what JC said Erin said. I wonder if either pregnancy was confirmed and whether she was being seen either time. And if went to,a hospital after or during miscarriage. Just kind of wondering if maybe she was testing CL's reaction in case she got, pregnant.

YES! There are roads leading in that don't have cameras. Fairly certain that those roads would require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get from them to the roads with cameras (and vice versa.) The area that LE focused a lot, if not most, of their time searching in the first weeks following her disappearance can be accessed from a dirt road without a camera. The area isn't technically inside of the JTNF boundaries but leads to areas that are.

I'm a wee bit freaked that it was stated in the media that the father of Erin's supposed baby was possibly her lover and not her husband. Why in the world would that have been reported?

Years and years ago, I had a friend who was having sex with two men at the same time. She got pregnant and, even though she terminated the pregnancy, she told one of the guys the child was his. She had no way of knowing that. One of those guys was about to marry, the one she told, wasn't. That still bothers me - 32 years later. It messed up some heads, for sure.

The information was stated in the Probable Cause Affidavit. Once disclosed, there was no keeping it quiet.

"JT, Erin’s friend in Tennessee, confirmed EC and CL were romantically involved and EC maybe pregnant with CL’s child. EC told JT that CL was worried if his wife discovered EC was pregnant, CL's wife would divorce him and keep him from his child."

JT forwarded those text messages from EC to LE.

That's what I've been trying to figure out. EC's car is found....LE states her 'missing' is not voluntary, but can't prove it's criminal....LE starts searching JTNP. There has to be video & lack of video either with EC's car or hers and CL's. Just can't put it all together.

I hope they have some sort of reason to search other than that it was the best first place to look, seeing as how she said she was going there that morning. People have been known to hunt/shoot in the area they were searching and it is only accessible with a 4-wheel drive vehicle (or on foot) so their search area may have been narrowed based around who they believed the perp to be and where he may have had a familiarity with.

Thanks. But I really wonder if/how Erin could/would have known who the father was. I really doubt she would have announced her pregnancy on FB if she truly believed CL was the only possible father.

Sure she could have. She was alone most of the time and probably REALLY wanted a baby.
She's young. She was excited. She posted.
I don't get it, either. Social media takes the specialness out of things. (IMO)

The weather is really nice here on the desert. Sunny and no wind or rain. Temperatures are over 100 in the day but fall to the low 70s in the evening. It should be a good weekend to search.

If she was planning and raising it as Jonathan's she would have. Besides, it's hard to keep a pregnancy a secret, eventually everyone would have know she was expecting. But it also seems she was excited by the prospect.

The pregnancy announced on Facebook was the one that miscarried. There appears to be few people who were aware of this pregnancy before she went missing. From various msm sources the people who have confirmed they knew are JC and her friend in TN. Her mother didn't even know yet.
We can't even be sure CL or NL knew.

I stated the same thing many days ago exactly what purpose did this all serve to announce that to the public at the very beginning of her disappearance. It makes no sense to me that in itself if she is alive is enough to cause her great duress to not come forward. IMO it was sensationalism reporting. Also understand that what is reported is not set in stone (Factual). It is gathering of information not just from authorities but interviews with just the general public individuals that may know her or heard third hand about her. IMO

No, it was a person employed with media who told us that so no hearsay.
