Discussion on Court TV about whether he seems a credible character, like he came up from a rough background but is okay and can give honest testimony, or is he coming across cocky. When asked how he got and learned that Racquetball job, he smiled and said he was a smart guy. State asking a lot of questions about the text app "Viber" that Baker liked and used to communicate with Monica.

He's been talking about how the relationship between he and Monica started and how they secretly met around town. He waited a long while (6-8 mos.) before he let anyone else know he had a relationship. Asked where they had sex. He said at his apartment. They used Viber text, not usually a direct phone call except through the Viber Phone app they could talk.

"I murdered him because I wanted her." More, all the time.

The more he talks about how he wanted to please her and have her enjoy life, the more the jury may believe he'd lie on the stand to protect her.

1741907485458.webp Baker testified "he wanted Monica with him all the time" and that's why he killed Fabio. Baker was asked if he ever told Monica what to do. He said sometimes. Asked to give an example. He said he'd tell her to "Take your clothes off".

Being asked to describer how he treated Monica sexually. Baker says he's watching his words. It was how the feeling was and the timing. Asked sex in public?

True, he comes across as gaga for her which would lend itself to protecting and defending her. Lying for her.

Baker says alcohol had something to do with things. Baker says Monica could
be stubborn, but he'd "let" her have some alcohol and loosen up have some fun.
I don't know if any of this is helping her look uninvolved.

I know someone who has a similar disposition to Baker’s. He is not a murderer but he is just as much of a casanova and is very good at it. The person I know is all about making his female partners happy and carefree. I can see everything Robert Baker was saying in that regard coming out of his mouth too. I think that part of Robert Baker is genuine. I still think MONICA WAS 100% behind the murder.

Asked if the couple did a three-way. Baker says no. Prompted to talk about other sexy. Baker says he got Monica a little drunk and told her he had a little massage set up for her. Who gave her the massage? Some guy he knew, and he arranged it. He gave her some wine first. Baker explains she's a beautiful woman, and she was under the influence of alcohol, and the guy was excited... I think this might've been more than a massage?

I do not believe the quoted statement above one bit. Baker strikes me as the happy go lucky type of guy who just goes with the flow and definitely does not need any one specific female in his life.

It definitely was and he did allude to that. He is trying not to be vulgar imo.

Monica was the one in love here. He looked embarrassed in the photo, with his friends at his birthday party, where she is grabbing his crotch. Not saying he is a prude by any means.

Just tuned in. Of all days my service was down most of the day due to weather.

I heard the panel mention that her facial expressions look manufactured and that the jury pays attention to that. Still though she has to be convicted with proof.

I’m going to listen to his testimony but what’s with his head being turned down? Like when you walk through a place and you have to duck to get past whatever is above.

No matter what Baker says, how is the jury going to get past her story of bringing a towel with his blood on it into the house that day ("hit him with the racquetball racquet") when #1 the videos show he was in and out of the gym that day with no racquetball being played, and #2 she had no towel with her when she left with her daughter.

She made up that story to explain his blood/DNA being in her house on the day of the murder, clearly in league with the killer.

Not to mention a whole host of other evidence against her, like all the love letters and crappola in jail until he pleads no contest, then her strategy changes and suddenly she doesn't love him anymore, and now pouts and tries to look like the bereaved widow while Baker gets up there and tries to save her.

1741910796919.webp Oh, is that what she attempting to convey. I don't think some of these micro facial expressions are helpful.

1741910773248.webpTrying to figure out what I see. Too introspective as she avoids looking at him. JMO

I was literally cracking up out loud as Monica had her eyes travelling in circles to prevent herself from looking at him. It was the most effort I have seen from her thus far.

Her facial expressions are always too extreme. She is a definite drama queen, she just isn’t that good at it.

Yes, she's been doing that throughout and looks as phony as a three dollar bill. Some Oscar-winning actress she is!
