Uhhh what? Does the jury get copies of all this gobbliegoop? I’d have to spend 40 years just to break down the instructions.

Ah ha. But now that the judge is listing all the prosecution’s evidence the cloud is lifting.

ETA - In the infamous words of Lt. Colombo - one more thing. I like this no nonsense judge. He just told the attorneys his first duty is to the jury, so verdict will be read immediately, so people had better stand by.

haaa yes, Judge Coen said the whole document of all instructions will be made available to them in the Jury room. It's such a solemn moment, really, I mean I feel the weight of this even from where I am sitting. I can just imagine how serious this feels to the Jury. Rightfully so, of course.

Hmmm I would think it would go fast, on the other hand, to take it seriously, they should likely go over SOME of all those hundreds f hours and pages that compile this case. Nine weeks, I mean

It's been nice to have this group to watch the trial with and give updates & feedback. I slept late and didn't get up for the Jury Instructions. Have to run errands in a while. Wonder if the Verdict will happen today. I see that poll on L&C, they're saying, 92% think guilty. Wish we could hear the Jurors deliberate. Can there be one or two with doubts?

And I think it could be very possible to have 1 or 2 with doubts. A lot of this case was connecting the circumstantial dots after all, and not so in your face direct and obvious as people might "need or expect" after all the tv shows, I guess. I do have faith though that the majority will know what's what here, and will get stragglers to follow suit.

I was surprised to hear that the judge will not wait for family or friends to arrive once a verdict is reached. I bet a lot of people are hanging out in the hallway so they don't miss it.

Anyone know why L&C's verdict clock lost about an hour and a half? It had been showing over 5 hours of deliberations and then went to 3 1/2 hours.

They took the lunch time off the counter clock to have it reflect the actual deliberation time.

Jury requested to hear Mr. Austin's Perkins conversation recording and transcript of it. However, that recording or transcript is not in evidence, so I guess they will get told that's a "not Possible"
We can now worry about what they wanted from that? Oh dear.

4 PM locally so after being told a No Go on their request, they were dismissed for the day, and will reconvene at 10 AM tomorrow morning.

I assume they wanted to know what, if anything, he said about Monica's involvement while he was being surreptitiously recorded. JMO.

I am wondering if there are some jurors really on the fence re: her participation, if they wanted to hear that Perkins conversation. It makes me wonder if they did not find Mr. Austin's testimony on the stand clear, or convincing?

Seems they want to know if you take away the motivation of the prosecution deal, what was he saying? A way to confirm his version. JMO.
