CA - FBI asks for help identifying pedophile

I have seen a cartoonish tractor trailer image like what is on the hat that you guys think is a marshmallow. I can't remember anything else about it but what you guys see as a marshmallow I believe is the cab of a tractor/big rig. I am going to link the original FBI help request on a couple of trucker sites and see if any of them can help at all.

BBL

OT: NO big screen TV today, I was way too busy. Hopefully tomorrow.
Y'all keep at it!
LOL, what fun! :)
Not the subject but the "room" here and it's "occupants".
Luv it!

The other thing that popped out at me when I was researching "7011" was a Zetor 7011 tractor.

Of course, as others have pointed out it may not say 7011 at all, since that first character is not clear, and there are some 'weaker, blurrier' characters further to the right.

Or, going with the dog sled theme, what if it is "husky" branded equipment? Something with a 'cab' that is being pulled by huskies might fit. There are Husky tractors made by Bolens. They come in many varieties.

Still with the husky theme, what about this?
Husky: a Sled Dog With No Sled By RSD

The South African Husky is the detector vehicle, with "landmine overpass capability". From its inception, RSD designed the Husky as a mine-detector using its liftable side arrays. But the Husky was part of RSD's Chubby system (Interim Vehicle-Mounted Mine Detector in the US) and has been overshadowed by its partner, the Meerkat.

In the Chubby/ IVMMDS scheme, the Husky is a tractor, towing a line of mine-detonating trailers (below).[2] As a result, a Husky is more powerful than its Meerkat stable- mate, which lacks the Husky's full-time four-wheel drive. A Husky has a low enough ground pressure that it can roll over mines. Should any mine detonate, its front and rear suspensions and axles packages will be sacrificed. Red Pack kits to quickly replace these components in the field are generally part of the Husky package.

It's a piece of military expeditionary equipment (remember my earlier mention of 7011 as a specific expeditionary role in the marines).

Here's an image of one. Notice the two long front suspension extensions reaching far forward. Could these represent the "reins" to the dog sled team in the hat graphic?

Just thoughts.

Wow Snoopster!

You sure know your tractors.
I am filing that away for future use, lol.
Nice! :)

snoop asked me to look...and all i can come up with for the hat is that the emblem is some variation of the marine corps "devil dog"...the hat it self is not a where i would think this emblem would be displayed, but like someone else mentioned, take a walk thru any large va hospital/clinic and one will see many strange frankenstyle military concoctions...lol

You know... I can't help wonder... who took a picture of this guy... and Why???

Blackmail?
Leverage?
Perverted family member?

:waitasec:

The FBI statement said this guy was in the background of the other photos.

It's not placed right for a gun, is it?

ETA: G'night y'all.
Decorating and crafting for Christmas with 5 YO GS tomorrow. :)
We make ornaments out of plaster of paris and candy molds and when they dry we paint them for the tree.
We use a homemade dough recipe that dries w/o cracking and cut things out w/cookie cutters, dry and paint.
We also cut out Christmas images from sewing material and put an iron on backing on them and make pillow covers, table cloths, stockings, tshirts etc and embellish them with cloth paints.
Take pinecones, roll in elmers glue and then roll in glitter.
Yearly traditions for over 25 years that started when my kids were babies.
My tree tells a story from so many different people maiking stuff with us for so many years.

Ooops, derail, sorry.

This Nana needs lots of rest to keep up with him, lol.
Luuuuuv that lil' man! :)

G'night.
Your GS is very lucky to have such a loving, creative, and fun GMa!

You are way over my head with tractors......Snoopster.......

But the 7011 could be an option in my eyes!

sheesh, I've driven everyone away with all of my talk about tractors and military equipment? I'm the last person that should be talking about this stuff. Carbuff, where are you when I need you? I'm just a city girl. What the heck do I know? I can just use google.

Can anyone else pin down the characters along the top of the emblem? It has been suggested that it could be yost? While I keep focusing on 7011, that might be completely off base. What are the additional characters to the right of the 4 obvious ones?

I'm here. I'm just out of ideas at the moment.

And I gotta say, that last expedition tractor looks as likely as anything else at the moment. The overall lines and design of the cap really look like the military "frankencaps" I see the older guys around here wearing.

When I concentrated on just that figure to the side of the number/letters on top...(right side when facing the hat)... It looked like it could be in the shape of a badge.. Like police.. Or firefighter?

But how about this.. I confused an LE/ FD badge with... Get this... A WWF.... Wrestling emblem ...the other day... :floorlaugh:

But you know what? Could this logo on the hat have anything to do with wrestling (like Hulk Hogan) kind of wrestling?

I could see a guy like this getting into watching wrestling...

Does this jar any poster's minds or eyes? :clown:

:sumo:

Snoopster I thought you were on the right track with the bulldozer, tractor type stuff. Been checking out ball-caps here, there and everywhere- finding close but no cigar images.
No wonder FBI wants some help there are an awful lot of caps out there, every time I think I am on to something and go back to check it out or post, I cannot find it again, ( probably like many of us here)
Did they ever release any info at all about the victim like hair, eye and skin colour- it might help
Hoping the child managed to survive...

I actually see a Jester/Harlequin mask and instead of claws I see letters and numbers on either side. I'm thinking it's a veteran hat. I've seen a lot of strange hats like that in my days around the VA health system.

Edit: after looking even harder I think it's a panther/hellcat emblem with unit info. A lot of military panther emblems have harlequin type eyes

My first thought was 7011 at the top, and 'panther' on the bottom as well. You say you've seen vets wearing them, but my dads that age, and he wouldn't be caught dead wearing a hat like that! It's too 'busy' for him.

I posted about the hat on yahoo answers last night in the 'baseball' and 'fashion & accessories' and didn't get any results. I've just posted it in the military section. Don't know if that will help or not...

I've been searching from lurkdom for several days now. I've looked at everything from biker wear to liquor labels to ball teams. Nothing.

But I do think the "line" across the bottom may be stylized lettering.

As for the lettering on the top...

First character struck me as:
7, Y or 1

Second character:
O, 0, U, G

Third character:
8, S, H

The remaining characters I think should be a word ending, like:
ER, EN, OR, CH, ST

"IHAVENOCLUE",

The ICP band members both are wrestlers.
Check Wkipedia.

My grandson looked at the hat for me and said it was Youth Patrol to him.
He did not know the characters on the tee shirt.

He did not know the characters on the tee shirt.

Started looking at "youth' caps realizing that the ped. perp probably was attracted to items that would appeal to children...
Also wondered if the hat may have belonged to a/the child (they don't care if it is too big if they like it. Your g.son sounds delightful!

He is!
I told him that the FBI was hunting for this bad man and that grandma was trying to help. I said I needed his help to look at some pictures for me because he could see so much better than I could. I asked him if he knew what FBI meant and he just smiled and said Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is so smart!

I didn't think about it belonging to a child. That's a good idea. I was thinking of him using it as an authority type leader over children.

I guess I'll start looking at hats again. When I ventured into the tee shirts, all kinds of stuff came up. Ugh!

Ok - I've not taken the time to see if this has been thrown out there yet, so sorry if I'm repeating! :)

The bottle with the red cap could be a small liquor bottle - maybe Maker's Mark? It's bottles are dipped in red wax.

The thing under the blue and gray hat could possibly be the brim of a cowboy hat. My brother has a ton of cowboy hats of different colors and qualities, and it could easily be what the baseball type hat is resting on.

When I first saw the blue and gray hat, I thought it could be a Dallas Vigilantes (arena league football) logo, but they weren't formed until 2010. Maybe Fort Worth Cats (minor league baseball)? Idk. Just thought I'd throw these out in case it leads to more ideas! :)ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354583466.284723.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1354583501.519144.jpg
