CA - FBI asks for help identifying pedophile

Ok - I've not taken the time to see if this has been thrown out there yet, so sorry if I'm repeating!

The bottle with the red cap could be a small liquor bottle - maybe Maker's Mark? It's bottles are dipped in red wax.

The thing under the blue and gray hat could possibly be the brim of a cowboy hat. My brother has a ton of cowboy hats of different colors and qualities, and it could easily be what the baseball type hat is resting on.

When I first saw the blue and gray hat, I thought it could be a Dallas Vigilantes (arena league football) logo, but they weren't formed until 2010. Maybe Fort Worth Cats (minor league baseball)? Idk. Just thought I'd throw these out in case it leads to more ideas! View attachment 28310

Niteowl, I think those are separate cases. The abuse in the story you posted happened when the now-17yo victim was between 12 and 15, and the FBI has already traced the photos in this thread back to 2005. So it sounds as though this case predates the Brooklyn one.

Does anyone see any characters on perp t shirt that matches this one? Again, just tossing ideas in case it sparks some other ones. Speaking of sparks, looking for promo. hats (not finding though) for the dvd, Burning down the House, considering that the baseball cap has flames on it..a theme?
Going with a "theme" could some items on table be purchased to accompany the movie, ie. hot sauce for popcorn (red topped bottle) seeing as there is what appears to be a vinegar bottle?
Also,(and I am not keen to sleuth or mention,) but could one of those items be ugh, lubricant, given the situation?
Another random thought about the baseball cap - if it is in fact critters surrounding a scull- could it be an exterminator's cap?

The flames on the cap as being from "Burning Down the House" movie...hmmm.
I think the flames were widely used but not associated with the movie "Burning Down the House" but that is just my opinion not based on any facts.

Now I think our cap has a bulldog that is possibly riding a motor cycle. If you look close you can see his tail at the right and he is facing the left. Robert Picetti has been missing since Nov. 27, 2012 from Stockton, CA.
He is 83 years old.
Does it look like Picetti has tweezed or shaved/thinned his eyebrows?

I think Picetti has more hair than the Old Guy (John Doe 21 the FBI is calling him.) in FBI pics.

Edit again:
reading the updated article again and it says this: "Sheriff's investigators questioned Otilio Garcia about Picetti. According to Les Garcia, Otilio Garcia is a "person of interest" in the Picetti case."
So I can scratch Picetti off the list.
