Regarding the QuikTrip cup...I searched their sites and Googled; I found the Tulsa State Fair had a QuikTrip Zone at the fair, the cup could be an item sold there.

Not sure if this has been previously mentioned, but I will share just in case it hasn't. I live in Missouri, and QTs are very popular here...almost one on every corner in the St. Louis metro area. That cup is a QT kids cup. They were readily available in every store in the fountain soda area. They would normally come with a red lid and white or red bendy straw.

There were hundreds of QT stores by the mid 2000s, so I'm not sure that the cup itself will be of much help.

Bowers lived in Rochester, MN. That's a good two hours from Waterloo where he is now. I looked up for a QT in that MN area, and I found KT's. No doubt there's two kinds of "Trip" stores with similar names, different spellings.

Just putting it out there. I doubt it would help. Couldn't everyone just have Wawa's? Only one way to spell that.

Since the MN thing was posted, I went here: http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/default.aspx and looked for a daniel bowers under civil matters. There's one that comes up with a birthdate of march 1947. Most of the links have his middle inital as 'B', but that could easily be a typo.

There's a few civil commitments for being mentally ill.

There's another way to look at criminal records here in MN, I just need to remember how to do it. Ok that other way was just for criminal records and nothing came up...

This pic is blurred but I was going for characteristics of the bottle in the front. It is an insulin or some other injectible med bottle. You can see the round silver rim and in the center of that round silver rim is where the syringe goes. There is green on the label of the bottle. directly behind it is another bottle with a conical top. Now that we know there is a DVD case in the picture it gives a better scale of the size of the bottles.

I do think that it could be one of those bottles with a syringe.

I showed the photo of the hat to my DH last night. Just like others, he saw a few different possibilities. He definitely saw the 'animals' in the hat logo, however he also pondered the possibility of letters and numbers along the bottom.

Both of us tried to figure out the 'balance' in the logo along the center line of the hat.

One good idea he had was to determine whether there was an industry association for wholesalers of caps. Could we send the association a request to send the image of the hat to their members? I just haven't been able to figure out what association that might be. Would it be a 'promotional items' industry association? Does anyone have an ideas in this regard?

I just can't stand the thought of this guy (and any other perpetrators involved) still out there harming kids!

IMO: The insulin could be used as part of MO of the pedophile's molestation. I think There was a famous case involving an heiress (SVB) and injectable insulin.

I am not on my laptop right now so I can't post the pic but when you look at the picture of the nightstand and the items on it...I found a small picture, the kind that is taken in schools, of a girl with brown hair. It is resting on the DVD cover. If you download the pic to Paint or some program like that or turn your laptop 90degrees to the right, you will see the school picture. It creeped me out. I do hope they find this SOB.

I'm just throwing this in the mix about the hat. Every time I saw it I was reminded of something but wasn't sure what. Over the holiday we were in Oklahoma and one of my cousin's had his JayHawks hat on [yeah I know sacrilegious in OK] and then I wondered if the hat in this perp's pic is one of the JayHawks hats. There are several different versions of JayHawks and I'm sure knockoffs.

Those "flame" ball caps like the one in the photo have been popular for a few years now. My first thought was that the logo was that of a sports team with black and gray team colors (such as the LA Raiders) but I found a cap with a very similar flame pattern that can be bought and customized with a logo of choice at this site: http://www.dalixtrading.com/flame-cap-in-red

Look closely. The flames are outlined in white and are shaped more or less identically to those on the cap in the FBI photo.

There are actually several sites and eBay auctions selling these customizable caps, though, and that logo could be from a hometown sports team's "free cap night" or from any number of small businesses.

It looks to me that there are three animal heads grouped in the bottom half of the decal. My best guess is....on the bottom right a bear head, on the bottom left a wolf head and slightly higher between the two a raccoon?

I went on the FBI link and couldn't find them any more, but I didn't look through 72 pages either. Also checked on the St Louis wanted site and they weren't there.

If they have identified him, would that be released to the public?

For what it's worth, the DVD behind the QuikTrip cup is a copy of "Bringing Down the House," a 2003 comedy starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Specifically, it's a widescreen copy, indicated by the red bar across the bottom.

Dad's Vitamin B was a deep pink liquid in a brown bottle with gray or silver around the rim and the rubber thingie (apologies for the high dollar technical word, lol) in the middle to draw from with a syringe.

His morphine was...oral drops and tabs but no IM liquid, sorry. They would be different right? His oral drops would be much different than IM morphine, wouldn't it?
Any nurses recognize the little bottle that is thought to be filled with liquid 'for
injections?

What is eerie to me now is that we have what may be the blue aspirator for babies and the bottle of what could be infant vitamins, but those usually have a dropper type top that comes in separate packing until it is opened and placed on the bottle of liquid vitamins.

Wonder if this is the 19 day old baby case. UGH.

Thanks, that was a good article with interesting detail about how in one case a simple pic. of a sunflower helped locate a victim in another case.
It seems they are now looking for these two perps, pictured.(from the same link)
