Ca; Filmmaker Involved in Fatal Car Accident

Oscar-nominated director John Singleton was driving a Lexus SUV when it struck and killed a jaywalker who stepped in front of the car, police said Friday. Singleton, 39, immediately stopped his car and waited for police to arrive after the accident Thursday night in the city's Jefferson Park neighborhood, said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman.

Sounds to me like a random thing and not his fault.

It does sound like an accident. He did the right thing by stopping and staying at the scene.

How awful,although it didn't seem to be his fault,I'm sure he wll have images of that horrendous incident for the rest of his life. Poor guy.
